Did the Best buy protection on my subwoofer Meridian LG I did leave the subwoofer for the geek squad to fix on October 25th 2024
Today is November 14th 2024 I did chat with the Best Buy customer service which they didn’t help me a lot to let me know why my subwoofer is fixed and why is it taking long for shipment it looks like I’ve been sitting there for more than two weeks and it’s not shipped yet.

I was told a time period when they would arrive to my place and mount a tv. The cost is not insignificant. During that time, I received no confirmation of my appointment and what was supposed to be a time slot of 11:30 to 3:30 ended up being way past 7pm. I waited all day in my apartment and constantly called customer support. They couldn’t help much because they wouldn’t give me the contractors information. Overall, bad experience and not even sure how I am going to get my TV.

Basically if you have an Apple device DON’T go here for repairs they aren’t set up for Apple and not a trustworthy location I set up appointment for tommorow receive the call same day telling me they don’t have the parts needs to fix back of my phone and referred me to another Apple Store this is my third attempt to get my phone fix in the past year with the same results can’t fix battery,back of phone or anything

They literally take appointments for the Apple Genius Bar, and they don’t have one in the store.And nobody knows anything about Apple products except how to take your money.

Pitiful to say the least. I brought my laptop in to fix a broken hinge (it wouldn't close right), they kept it for five weeks only to ship it back to me unfixed because the factory couldn't ship them the part. And then BestBuy had the audacity to try and sell me a new laptop.I then brought it into a generic computer repair shop. It took only one day to diagnose the problem, (They then gave my laptop back because it was still usable), And then after they got the part delivered took one day to repair it. It cost me a lot less than what geek squad was gonna charge to.I'm NEVER using Geek Squad again. They were a complete and utter waste of time, and gave me no results. Worst customer service I ever had.

Wow. Issue is specifically with management and not the very helpful employees. Talked to them on the phone twice to confirm exact details of the service. Had to buy external parts because they don't sell them inhouse. Drove 40 minutes to get to the appointment on time and get turned away by management.I get policy and all, but what an incredible waste of time.

This place is a literal joke. Made an appointment with them through Apple as one of their authorized locations to replace a battery. I get there and there’s no tech to work on my phone. So I made another appointment directly through them waited a whole week and only to get told the don’t have any new batteries in stock to use on my phone. Of course the employees there don’t seem to have a care in the world. They don’t even seem apologize for the inconvenience I went through TWICE. I would highly suggest anyone taking their business elsewhere.

Made a simple appointment for 2:20pm to fix my iPhone screen. There’s no line at all yet I had to wait over 25 min for someone to talk to me. They run diagnostics on my phone (takes another 20-25min) then they go in the back and come out just to tell me they don’t have the right screen to replace my iPhone with. Big waste of time. Their site claims same day repairs and I specified which type of iPhone I had before arriving. They don’t respect your time at all.

Absolutely the worst customer service and ability to fix a computer. First greeted by a child who was about 20 years old and throwing around words about computers he thought I would understand. Then had to give the computer to a person behind a curtain (must be the Wizard of Oz). Went to pick it up 2 days later and it still wasn't fixed as he plugged it in and it wouldn't start up...he kept rebooting it and told me it sometimes need to be rebooted a few times for it to "catch" the disc properly...i think he thought it was a frisbee. Then he said it could be the battery wasn't made powerful enough for the computer. It was a 1 year old Dell computer with a terabyte of memory...he tried to tell me that sometimes the computer is too powerful for the battery. Then he went to talk to the tech who supposedly fixed it and came out and suggested the disc could be swapped with a chip to make it faster. Then the tech came out and said he had to work on the disc more and I could come back in a few hours. Today was 98 degrees in Boston at South Bay Plaza and I walked around for almost 2 hours when he told me it would be ready in an hour. Then they are telling me to come back tonight to pick it up....THEN they sent and email to my son saying it would be ready on Tuesday...that would make 3 days they had it...when i called to file a complaint at the Geek Squad headquarters they told me it showed it was closed out on Saturday the 5th and repaired and couldn't help me once the ticket is closed out!! I brought it into the store on the 5th where the told me I either had to pay $350 or I could take out the contract for the year for $200. I took out the contract and then they explained that it's an automatic yearly renewing contract and they keep my charge card on file. Told him I did not want them to keep my card on file and he told me that's their policy. Needless to say, that card will be deleted once I get my computer back. They still have my computer, they have my $200.00 and they already have wasted 4 hours of can my time in one day. WORST WORST WORST service and I can only say that I truly believe they hire any kid who says he knows how to fix a computer. I don't think any of them have ever gone to school for computer sciences...they figure if they know how to play video games on a computer, it's a safe bet to hire them to fix them. First they said it was 5 virus's, then when they couldn't get it to work, they said it was a battery, then they went behind the curtain and the got the "tech", and I use the word loosely, who said he believes it was the disc and it would be another $65 to replace it. You'd think he would have figured it out seeing as they had it for over 2 days. Beware, it should be called the STUPID SQUAD or RIP OFF SQUAD! Your choice!!

My remote car starter installation appointment that I booked months in advance was cancelled by Everett Geek Squad a few days before the service was scheduled to be performed. They did not make any accommodations for me and I was told to book another appointment at a different location.I asked them if they could transfer my parts for the service to another geek squad location. They insisted that I would have to pick them up at the Everett location even though I only got them delivered to Everett because the service was going to be performed there.

Save your money and find a different tech support company. I contacted them because I was having problem with my pc accessing some apps, or pages, fb in particular, and they guaranteed me they could fix it, so I purchased a one year contract. The first rep didn't know anything and when I asked if he could transfer to a senior rep, he told me they don't have that kind of system. On the second call, the person did transfer to a senior tech and he did seem to know what he was doing. He requested a copy of my FB files, and told me to call them back when I received them! They were received an hour or so later, and I did call back, and could never get anyone who knew what they were doing and they said they could not transfer to the original senior tech who ordered the files!!! One if their solutions was to upgrade my windows edition, and because they are just so arrogant did not bother to ask me how I wished to handle software updates!!! They deleted my Norton Anti Virus 360, put in their own, same with add blocker!!! Anyway, to make a long story as short as I can, they spent about 3, 8 hour days and at the end finally admitted they didn't know what was wrong, gave me a phone number for FB, which when you call, says not accepting calls at this time! and totally messed up many other function on my pc!!! And then tried to tell me it should be that way!!! I have spent numerous hours trying to fix what they damaged and I spent almost two hours today on the phone waiting for a customer service rep, I want a refund, and finally gave up!!! Spent another half hour on web chat, with the same success!!! No one ever showed up!!! Save your money, hire a different tech support company! Best Buy Geek Squad are frauds!!! If I could give them a minus 5 stars I would!!!
