Costco itself is great. My complaint is about the location. This location is super busy all the time. There is a kind of shopping mall/ food court near by and you will definitely wait in traffic and see angry faces. Go to another Costco if you want some space when shopping.

This is my home Costco, I typically shop here once every two weeks. And usually I have such a great experience with this Costco. I usually shop with my husband and he helps to load up all the groceries in the boxes, etc. today I was shopping alone and asked if I could have help with boxes. The cashier (who I am so tempted to call out by name but I won't because I feel like that's just fighting fire with fire), in a rude and unkind tone, said "you have to go over there and get them" which I had no problem with so I went over to get some and I came back and she looks at me in the eyes and says there's just so much stuff that you bought. Can you please just keep it moving so I have room to put your other things? The other person helping load up the cart was really kind (thank you José!) and was trying to help me figure it all out, but the cashier woman kept making rude comments , it was odd. I've never experienced that from a Costco employee before. Typically, they're so warm and so kind. So as I'm loading up my cart, she's also putting stuff in my cart, but is putting really heavy things on top of bread items, and fragile fruit, it didn't even make sense. The woman behind me in line started loading up her stuff on the conveyor belt , and the cashier starts barking at her that she's not doing it right, the whole experience was just really interesting. Maybe she's having a bad day but honestly I just left feeling so irritated

Costco in Everett, MA is my primary Costco -- and I love the deals! This review is specifically regarding the returns counter at this location. I had a terrible experience with an employee named Patricia on Thursday, May 18. I bought a container of salsa that starting leaking as I was packing my car. This has never happened to me before, so I was unsure of the exchange process, but I knew there must be one. I waited in the long returns counter line. Once I made it to the counter, Patricia was rude, snappy, and confusing. She explained this long process to follow at the customer service counter in order to get a new salsa. Trying to understand the process, I asked her if an employee gets the new salsa or do I get the new salsa. She then again snapped at me and said -- "that depends on if they have someone available to do that!" I understand that this review can be confusing without hearing the whole conversation, but that would be too much to write here. Essentially, I felt so confused about the exchange process, and I also felt she was so annoyed to be doing her job that I just asked to return the salsa, then re-entered the store, got a new salsa, and waited in a very long self check-out line to get a salsa that was not leaking. After leaving the Costco, I realized that if Patricia had just be kinder and patient with me, I could have gone to the customer service counter, explained my issue, then gone to get a new salsa without having to wait in a long self check-out line again. Rather, she wanted to be rid of me and move on to the next customer, with no regard to really helping me. I know the store is busy, but I don't think that is an excuse to not appropriately help customers.

The one star is not for any quality issues because Costco's is simply the best. I love all the products and the fact that they seem to have consistent employees says a lot about them as an employer. What I am upset about is that as I'm parking my vehicle, I see a customer, pulling out of their trunk, dead as can be arborvitae's trees from last year's plantings. Just a dead tree with the root ball that came right out of the ground. I absolutely think it is despicable of them to return something they bought healthy a year ago, but didn't maintain and get brand new ones for FREE. No shame. Let me leave my steak outside of the refrigerator for a week and then take it back for a new one. It's not a fair business practice on Costcos end because there's no normal garden center that can compete with something like this. It's one thing to replace product that is bad and another to say at the end of the day we're selling thousands and still making the margins. Horrible business practice against any small business. And yes, I am in the industry.

I love going to Costco! They have absolutely everything you need to thrive as an adult. The only thing missing from this location is the gas station. As usual, I also typically get the food from the food court and the service is always speedy and prices are great.

Came here specifically for their electric bike that was on sale for in store pick up as it was even better than what they were offering on their website. All of the staff were friendly but also adamant about checking everyone's memberships when walking in and out. Would come again!

Always stocked, always helpful employees in cheerful moods. One of the better warehouses to shop at.

RE: COSTCO PHARMACYBait and switch tactics used. Pharmacy advised that the drug experiencing a shortage was in stock and covered by my insurance. I then had to pay over $300 upon pickup, thinking it was a copay. After contacting the insurance company, I was advised that Costco reversed their claim + up-charged over $200. I thought it was odd that the techs would not discuss this medication with me. I was not informed that my insurance was not going to be used. My receipt also shows the charge as a "co-pay." Pharmacy Manager did not care and stated that he thought he was doing me a favor by offering the drug (instead of saying that they were out of stock).

Happy with the washer/dryer; happy with the speed of delivery, however........Do not be deceived by the advertised "FREE INSTALLATION". You will need parts and you will be massively overcharged for the parts. I paid $100.00 for two Water Hammer Arrestors which cost $14.98 each at Lowe's. We paid $75.00 for a replacement exterior hood/flapper because they said the law required the hoods to now be metal. We were charged $75.00 vs. Lowe's price of $17.98. Similarly, they charged us $75.00 for a piece of pipe priced $8.52 at Lowes. The installer said, "Sorry, I just work for the company, I don't set the prices". In summary, the free installation cost $250.00 for $56.46 worth of parts, an astonishing markup of 443%.

Can always count on getting quality food and household items for my household at Costco. Only downside at this location is flow of traffic during busy times such as weekends or holiday shopping. I recommend going early in the mornings or weekdays to avoid crowds/traffic.

Great place in a great location with some really good deals for members online only so don't forget to download the app. For example I got a surround sound home theater for 199 plus tax free shipping.

I've only used the pharmacy but have not had worse customer service anywhere. Lots of delays and no consideration for the customer's time or difficulties. Absolutely would not recommend or return.
