“Needed work done to my. 2001 dodge 3500 van the transmission was not going into reverse. They got the van in for repair right away. I asked for a rebuilt trans and they did a great job. They checked and replaced parts that other repair shops would overlook. Master kit, band, o/d planet set,front planet,salenoid set, converter, 12 qts fluid, o/2 sensor. $2,136. He took the time to show me and explan everything he did.”

“Ryan and his entire team are top knotch!! From our first conversation to having our 2017 GMC Acadia towed to their shop, Ryan was always in contact with us. We ended up having to have our engine replaced which he explained the how's and why's and we fully understood. He gave us an estimate and it was very fair so we agreed to have him and his team do the work. Ryan installed a remanufactured engine with a warranty. This was not an easy job at all and we did need a few extra parts but why would you put old items on a new engine (Water Pump Etc.) We felt completely at ease. After we got the Acadia back he asked us to bring it back so he could change the oil after 500 miles. We did bring it back and and he changed the oil and he looked at the oil to make sure that the engine was good and it was. During the project if we had questions we could simply call or text Ryan and he always got back to us. If you have read this all the way to here just stop and take your vehicle to Ryan and his team at A&K Automotive. After his examination and testing of the car, I got a call from the owner who told me there was nothing wrong with my car. There was no charge for their inspection or his time. “When I was young and just getting into the car world, my grandfather looked me in the eye and said Sam, if you want your car fixed right, go see Warren Whitehead! He's the best in town. Well I have been going to Whiteheads since I was a teen and I'm 54 now, I saw Jim when he worked with his dad and watched him grow into an excellent mechanic just like his father. I saw Warren hand his business down to his son and my trust never wavered because before Warren handed it down to Jim, Jim was already doing great work on my car. And his mechanic Steve, what can I say about Steve? I had an old Dodge Caravan that made knocking noises when stepping on the gas or slowing down and on bumpy roads. I brought it to a mechanic I was using for awhile because he was inexpensive due to the fact he worked out of his garage at his home and had little overhead. He told me it was my struts and $380 later which was actually a great price for getting two struts down, and I drove it away and it still made the same noise. I said that's it I'm going back to Whitehead, I'd rather pay more and get it fixed the first time. So I brought it to Whitehead and Steve was the one I explained things to do he worked on my car. He calls me up in a couple of hours and says your all set. I said really? He said yeah noise is gone. I cringed and said what's the damage? He said $66. I ssid your kidding what was the problem? He says you had a broken motor mount and I was able to weld it back together. So if you want honesty and Quality work, Take it to Whitehead!”
