Main field is in great shape - really nice dugouts for the players - batting cage - lots of parking - mens and women's bathrooms - little playground - war memorial is nice and while there is a set of bleachers, sitting on the hill in front of the Town Hall feels like a step back in time...

Located beneath Essex Town Hall, this is an expansive recreational venue that features several nicely groomed baseball diamonds and a tennis court. There's a modest amount of parking on site, whether at a paved public lot or along dirt roads on the edges. Besides the nice, wide-open fields, there are several memorials and a flagpole plaza. An "honor roll," in particular, recognizes Essex citizens who served in the Civil War, World War I, World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War. All in all, a large, beautiful, open public space.
