So disappointed they were closed. Yet their website said they were open. I even phoned from the parking lot thinking maybe someone was in there. Their voice mail gave their open hours including the time I was now there. I enjoy this place and their garden statues. But it's far for me to travel. What a wanted trip.

The best sandwiches in Western Massachusetts!! Generous portions, great breads and excellent customer service. Prices are very reasonable. Not interested in a sandwich? The baked goods have been featured in Cooks magazine. The scones are filled with fresh fruit and are perfect with a cup of locally roasted coffee.

I love this place. Their blacksmith forged hooks are INCREDIBLE and extremely well-priced. I’m addicted. Their cement garden statues are also amazing and extremely well-priced. Way cheaper than anything you could ever find on the internet, plus you don’t have to pay for shipping which would be expensive on these heavy things, and juxtaposed with a menagerie of antique oddities. AND they have simple tasty little sandwiches and INSANE BROWNIES. Like 6-inch thick brownies. That are insane.

Super expensive "antiques". Staff treats the bathroom like the holy grail is stored in there. The guy that sells concrete stuff outside is cool, but this place isn't worth stopping for.

not very welcoming. Within a minute of entering I had an employee talking to me in a condescending manner.
Certain sections of the antique store close 20 minutes earlier than listed.
Felt awkward and was disappointed after coming out from far away.
The world has few customers; please be kind to those of us who show up.

Disgusting and unclean. Food is disgusting and what I ordered was completely expired and inedible. Also asked for a refund and told that wasn’t possible. I have been in the service industry for quite a while and never seen service as bad as this. One of the managers is completely rude and disrespectful to customers. She consistently talked over other customers and wouldn’t let them talk among many other issues I noticed as well. Please do something about this. Save your time and don’t come here.

What a gem. Had a great cup of coffee, tried a 'hermit' which was amazing, and Mary was wonderful company to talk with.
Wonderful selection of antiques with many unique items.

Aside from the service animal incident I also found this place to be lack luster. I drove almost an hour hoping to scope out some antiques. All I found was bickering staff at the lunch counter. Filthy antiques in the back rooms that are not priced to move. They are so over priced they will never be enjoyed by anyone but the original purchaser. Most everything was covered in a thick film of dirt, most likely not helped by the poor ventilation of cooking fumes from the lunch counter. It was a sad disappointment. Won't be returning.

Very disappointed in Freight House's hostile attitude towards visitors who wish to use the restroom; they insist on forcing customers to make a purchase in order to get a key to the door. There are no public restrooms anywhere in Erving and it's a huge mistake to display an unwelcoming attitude towards any potential customer, whether they have to pee or not.
