In town for the a regatta out of the Edgartown YC. Had a harborside view and the location could not have been more convenient. I'll be back next year.

We stayed at the Harborside Inn the weekend I was proposing to my girlfriend and it could not have been a better experience. The location, accommodations, and staff were incredible. Kait, their Guest Services Director, reached out to ask how she could make the stay extra special. The location is perfect for walking around Edgartown. The room was great, but more importantly the grounds were beautiful and relaxing being positioned right on the water. They even had a live band playing Saturday afternoon. Highly recommend.

We loved the Inn. Friendly team, separate kitchens, refrigerators, and lounge areas.Beautiful views, walking distance to shops, restaurants, Escape Room, Ice Cream, the docks, and Bars. The areas were clean. There is a laundry room and water filling station. It is very loud in the kitchen common area with all the families and kids. It's hard to talk or concentrate. The nearby YMCA has awesome classes, a pool, a cafe that includes a smoothie and protein shake "bar", accommodating and fantastic, friendly service.

After removing the jacuzzi and sauna, and raising the fees to higher than normal for a timeshare resort, it's clear that all this new money and profits have been wasted. No improvements to the shared kitchen area. And of course, waiting for your room to be ready is made up of guesses and 'I believe...'. We don't know when your room will be ready. It's 1 in the afternoon and we're still just waiting. This place has been more profitable now than in the past decade. Bring back the sauna and jacuzzi.

Walkability: Tucked in the quaint harbor area of Edgartown. Restaurants and shops are abundant within a 2 block radius.

This place is beautifully kept, wonderfully served and a delight to be in for a week. Small rooms (old New England spaces) but very tasteful. We faced the side street and were right off the stairs but we weren’t bothered by any noises. The pool is refreshing and there are several places to get a cool breeze from the harbor, from the porches to the manicured gardens. Staff is wonderful, very helpful and extremely attentive. Oh and one of the largest and oldest Pagoda trees in N. America is sitting right outside the property. Don’t miss it!

Awesome location on the water in the heart of Edgartown! Very convenient walk to numerous restaurants, shops, and attractions (e.g., lighthouse, beach, Chappaquiddick ferry).

RESERVATION CANCELLED WITHOUT EXPLANATION DAYS BEFORE VISIT! Have stayed at the Harborside Inn 2 other times with family. Location is great, rooms are adequate, although have a musty smell. Made a reservation in March 2022 through Expedia for an early June stay. I became concerned that my credit card had not been charged after a couple of weeks, despite having confirmation from Expedia. Contacted hotel directly and staff member confirmed my reservation including room, rate, dates, etc. Days before our trip I received an email from Expedia that hotel had cancelled my reservation! Must be a mistake?! Contacted Harborside Inn staff and was told they did not have my reservation and wouldn’t have done that (cancelled) and TOTALLY threw Expedia under the bus! Was in a total panic since ferry w car was booked and was making the long awaited trip w a friend with no place to stay. Scrambled all afternoon to secure a last minute stay elsewhere. After much persistence with Expedia and them insisting the cancellation was made by the Harborside Inn, they were able to send me the email that CAME FROM HARBORSIDE INN stating that due to a booking issue they had to cancel. As if that wasn’t enough, upon contacting the hotel management, she once again began to blame Expedia until I informed her of the email and read to her verbatim. Her response? Angry that I had obtained the email. ? Very disappointed that the Harborside took absolutely NO OWNERSHIP of their error, laid the blame on their business partners and made no effort to right their wrong with compensation of stay at a later time! Extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. And yet, I now see I am not the first one to have a similar issue with the Harborside Inn

I booked our king-sized room directly through the Harborside website in Feb. for a weekend in Sept. paid in full. When we arrived, we went in with our confirmation in hand and we’re told our reservation had been canceled. That was news to us!! After a half hour wait we were booked into a tiny room with 2 queen beds. It was terrible. Tiny, a dirty carpet, bathroom the size of a locker, and no refund for the price difference or compensation for our trouble. I think Harborside messed up our reservation and didn’t want to own up. Also, had we canceled we were entitled to a refund and we never received one. SoI guess I’d say we will never stay there again and most likely never recommend it to anyone else. Truly a shame. The location is perfect, the grounds were lovely but we didn’t get what we reserved or paid for.

Can not say enough about The Harborside Inn, located right on the harbor, very friendly staff and they had a lot of staff to wait on you for all different areas of the resort! Very clean grounds where ground keepers were out everyday cleaning, trimming shrubs, flowers, trees and lawn. The rooms were very clean l do not have one negative comment, all positives and the room staff was very attentive (Annemarie). Well done to the front concierge staff, Sherice, Tracy and the entire crew!! We will see you again soon!

We stayed here during the recent Beach Road Music Festival. The Harborside expertly straddles the desire for a tranquil resort, incredible views and a central location. It sits in the center of Edgartown within a quick walk to some of MV's best restaurants, shops and bars, while remaining quiet and private. Our group had 26 rooms for a 3 night stay. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, spotless, and comfortably functional. Most rooms have breathtaking views of the harbor or the the expertly manicured grounds. The sun filled pool and large and well-equipped grill area were a highlight for our group. One night we all sat around the fire pits for sunset. The friendly staff and management team accommodated all of our last minute requests, helped with dinner plans and in general were great resources for our successful stay. This property truly embodied everything we hoped for and we cannot wait to come back!
