2 S Water St, Edgartown“Friendly and accommodating staff in a well-run banking establishment. In my humble opinion banking is more of a chore than an event and rarely considered to be a fun outing, accordingly bad service would stand out more to customers while good service would inherently be taken for granted..... I can understand why this is the case but in reality I feel that management and staff of a well-run bank deserve more credit than they likely get, and this is definitely a location where that would apply.... This Bank deserves recognition for its customer service and overall good experience and is a well-run branch. Most branches of Rockland are comparable, meaning the off island locations I have also frequently visited, though there have been 2 that were exceptions and did indeed stick out as being not such a great experience. Many more than not however are a pleasure to do business with, and specifically the branch of this review, Upper Main Street in Edgartown, ranks among the best with certainty. I will say that the same applies for their downtown Edgartown branch too!Thank you!”
“The Google map location is wrong-DO NOT use the navigation. This place is not in VH but in Edgartown, off EDG-VH road, right before Granite Hardware-Edgartown Post office across Stop & Shop Bus Stop. It's entrance /cut-in from the road is one before Post office parking lot entrances. You can see the ATM and their red Logo from the road.”

Friendly, highly competent service, local attention, in all phases of my dealing with them--at *every* branch. My entire family has accounts with MVSB and my primary mortgage is with them. Smooth sailing, very personable and efficient treatment, all the way.”
“This review is for all the Jaws fans out there- Visited here on Monday July 15th 2024 , with my mom and found from an article that there is a Jaws themed artifact here. That artifact is located inside the bank, and all one has to do is ask. The Artifact is a sign saying "Amity National Bank". Amity is the fictional town of the Jaws universe, and they used the sign to cover the real signs of the businesses there. Cool stop!”
