A nice place to take the bored children to. Lots of nice little toys. Good variety of tools for everyday fixes. But prices aren't reasonable.

It's disappointing that you can't speak with anyone in the tool section downstairs. I called to ask to speak with someone and the person who answered the phone said they don't answer the phone downstairs. I guess they just can't be bothered...sort of like how they treat you when you're there in person.

This is the most "retail" on a budget you will get on island. They have home items like candles, shower matts, towels. You can also buy limited shoes or sandals. Birthday carda at a low cost, toys for kids, hardware items are downstairs typically.

"It's a hardware store.""No, it's a '5 & 10' as it says on the side of the building.""No, hardware!""No, '5 & 10'!"Stop! You're both right!!The Granite Store tries to "please all of the people all of the time" with whatever their need is... and does a pretty darn good job of it!In fact, if they don't have it -1.) It might be coming in on their next shipment, or2.) You probably don't really need it, or3.) You can possibly get by with something else, or4.) They can tell you where on the island you can find it.Also, in such a packed store, I am always amazed how the employees know where everything is too!Overall Summary:A wonderfully diverse offering of products and friendly, knowledgeable employees. Conner has always been especially helpful to me whenever I have come in and needed something but didn't know where to begin looking. Thanks, Conner!!

If they don’t sell it here, I can’t imagine why you need it. The 5 & dime has everything from housewares to toys & art supplies, grills, beach essentials & tools. The staff are friendly and most pricing is fair for the island. Good quality items. Often has a line so don’t expect a quick in & out
