The owner/staff always great me with a kind smile and a friendly good morning. The gas is cheaper than most others in the area. The restrooms and store are always clean. Smaller store so food/drink options aren't as plentiful as other stores. Bonus is the Honey Dew counter and drive thru.

Spent $75 on diesel only to be told "no public bathroom" .... it's 2020, what kind of convenience store doesn't offer a restroom for customers? The kind that I won't be stopping at again.

2 years ago I moved .5 mile down the road from this place. It is literally the closest gas station to us and my wife and I would frequently choose to fill up there + we prefer to support small local businesses. I legit just filled up my tank there yesterday... Today is a different story. My car died right at the lights in this intersection and kind-hearted good samaritan pushed me into their lot. I was so upset and shaken by the whole ordeal, as soon as I got safely into the lot I stopped my car. This meant that my car was at a weird angle and the tow guy had to position himself at a weird angle to get my car on this truck. As a result he blocked ONE of her TWO entrances for about 15 minutes - 1/2 way through she came over and began screaming at him and me that we were in her customer's way and she was losing business. I could NOT believe her behavior. SUCH GREED and NO CONCERN for a neighbor and now a former customer. Thank goodness the tow guy was more professional than I was at this point and told her she was wasting her time and the sooner she left the sooner we could get out of the way. I will NEVER stop here again!! I hope you won't either

Service is terrible. The store is plain dirty and smells like a derelicts bathroom. The candy is sticky and forget all the laws you thought you knew about Tobacco because here at this "establishment" they vehemently disregard any and all respect for the legislature that has been written. Both the owner and clerks at New World Gas & Jay's Corner demand you pay twice sometimes triple the price (WHICH YOU MAY KNOW AS "PRICE GOUGING") depending on how they feel. When I tried to bring this to the attention of the employee on duty I was met with a "It is the law", and other belittling, disrespectful and quite honestly so ignorant. I was brought to state of panic because after going to the car and looking over the receipt I had just received I realize that my purchase of Game wraps was put under a custom tag that came out in all lowercase and the price for two (a single pack) was 4.99! Knowing the stigma that comes with enjoying the Game Cigars is one thing but what happened after was truly bizarre and unsettling. The clerk on duty seriously buckled under the consistent pressure of my knowledge of the law and then picked up her cell phone to call someone (she didn't say) and then after the first phone call made another on a landline to someone who claimed to be the owner but never would say her name when I asked who I was speaking with. If you ask me this store is the farthest thing from convenience and truly what happened that day seemed criminal.

The convenience of a convenience store is to be in and out. More so one that you frequent every single day. You would think after 3 years of me going in EVERY SINGLE day they would stop carding me. Like I'm not youthful. I don't look under 18. The inconvenience of me going here, getting my things, waiting in line behind people, who I know and who are my age don't get asked for ID. But without fail I'm always asked for it. Every single day I back a pack of cigarettes ($10) Every single day I buy a energy drink (2.99) Every week I fill my tank (25-35$) So roughly 5-6 thousand dollars a year I have spent here. Welp at least there is a Mobil right down the street on 106. Which is open later than New World. And if you keep going down 106 towards Bridgewater there's a Shell station that's 24 hours. No one can tell me it's their policy to ID and it's the law, when I stand behind people who don't get carded. I'll go to a gas station who knows me.

Something fishy about the employees always going in and out of the back room. They also switch from English to Indian on the drop of a dime. Yes the gas is cheap, but I'm not smoking what they're selling. They take more pride in their bongs than anything else in the store.

There is a grumpy old Indian lady who works there. Today my purchase total came to $12.75. I handed her a crisp $100 bill. She immediately made an exhaling hissing sound of discontent. Then said "GREAT" and proceeded to take wayyy too long figuring out the amount of change to give me. REALLY? Also she tried over charging me for 1 BANANA. (they are 2 for $1. I kindly called her on it and she just grunted and charged me 0.75 for one. " I AM SOOO SORRY TO INCONVENIENCE YOU BY PATRONIZING YOUR ESTABLISHMENT WITH MY PURCHASE YOU OLD BAG!!!
