We are completely blown away at how welcoming, warm, thorough, detail-oriented this team is.From the first moment we visited Valley View for the winter farm dinner, we felt at home and well taken care of. Suzy and David really took the time to get to know us and share about how special the Farm is to each of them. It was clear from the start how much of a family and community Valley View is.Our wedding planner, Dan, and the Valley View Farm team made our wedding planning process fun and completely authentic to us. They were always available, kind, and easy to work with. We had multiple separate calls and in-person meetings with Dan, the catering team, and bar team, that made every detail unique to us.We also appreciated their transparency and guidance through every step of the process. Our guests loved the food, family-style dinner service, drinks, and overall experience and ambience of the Farm.The day of our wedding, Dan and his team went above and beyond to make sure that our every need was taken care of, even needs we didn’t even know we had! We especially appreciate how Dan and his team cared for and attended to our parents, grandparents, and wedding party.Thank you so much to the Valley View Farm team for making our wedding day even more special and memorable than we could have even imagined for ourselves. “My girls and I had a great time. Prices were high but it was pretty clean. Very long lines for the snack counter that did not move quickly at all. But overall it was a pretty good experience.”
“We cannot recommend The Red Barn highly enough! We were lucky enough to have Ella as our coordinator and she was an absolute DREAM to work with. From the time we booked until the end of our perfect day she was there keeping us on track and solving problems that had not even existed yet. She did an amazing job taking our decorations and making the space come to life and was incredibly flexible and efficient when the weather decided to take a turn for the worst at the last minute. Despite all morning being beautiful and sunny, Ella was still concerned about the chance of rain, so she set up the ceremony space BOTH inside and outside. This genius move allowed us to decide where our ceremony would be held literally as the bus was pulling in with our guests. Our wedding day would not have been nearly as perfect without Ella! The space itself is beautiful and having the tent over the deck gave guests the perfect place to cool down after hitting the dance floor. Our guests are still talking about the food. You seriously do not expect meals at a wedding to be THIS good. The bar staff also get a huge shoutout, they were friendly and worked so quickly there was hardly ever a line. If you are considering booking The Red Barn for your big day, we 100% recommend them.”
“We visited this park as my granddaughter had a softball game here. What a beautiful park. Very clean, plenty of space for parking, sanicans were clean and a playground that the kids loved.”
“My family and I went to the spaghetti dinner. It was delicious. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly and the sauce was very tasty. It's a nice community event. First Wednesday of each month. $8 for 12 and up. It comes with a salad and a roll also. You can get drinks at their bar. $1 for a soda.”
“I've rented an office at Venture X in Holyoke since early fall of 2023. The atmosphere is cozy, yet professional; the property is nearly immaculate, well-maintained, and accessible. The staff is courteous and helpful, and my productivity has improved significantly since arriving.”
“A magnificent Merry Go Round from the historical Mountain Park.We attended the Tartan Christmas event hosted by the Holyoke St. Patrick's Day Committee. It was a very good time for our grandson and entire family. Santa was great. The prices are extremely affordable .We will certainly plan return soon to ride the carousel.”

“Attended the Silver Chord Bowl here again. Always a good time - love the acapella groups that perform. Only issue with this venue is the hard, uncomfortable wooden seats. Time to get some new seating!!”
“Nice little golf course. Sharp dog legs. The Greens were in nice shape for late March golf. The bar was nice, but there were only three taps of draft beer. Google tells you to go to Spring Street, but that's not correct.”

“After being let down by another hotel, my family and I lucked out with this one. I called late night the day before having to check in and Kyla was great. She automatically assigned my rooms so they can be connecting. Once we arrived, we were helped every night by Larry. He was great, he went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. Free hot breakfast was good, rooms were in great condition. Only thing I would say is get bigger fitted sheets for the bed and in the bathroom the tub spout should be replaced. Definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you”

“Today, November 16, 2023, I'm re-writing my review of four years ago. We've visited a friend in the area for many years and always stay here. The rooms are very clean; it's great to have a kitchenette, and the indoor heated pool is a wonderful spot to relax. The staff at the front desk are friendly and personable....a special shout-out (Yay!) to Manager Susan. Both Mary and Sundip were very welcoming this past week. And a big 'thank you' to all others who work so hard 'behind the scenes' to provide a comfortable experience! Highly recommended, EXCEPT: TERRIBLE MATTRESSES! The new pillow-top mattresses are ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! It's like sleeping in a hammock. The only way to get into bed is to crawl in on hands and knees. Worse, try to turn over and you have to pull yourself up out of the abyss; it feels like you've fallen into marshmallows. Getting out of bed means crab-crawling on your back. The most used side of the bed is the worst as it is the most concave. The original mattresses were very comfortable. Pillow-tops are the WORST DECISION EVER BY CORPORATE MANAGEMENT!”
“Venue that can be rented to have celebrations. Ample parking, restrooms are NOT handicapped accessible due to they are down a flight a stairs. Were short staffed on bartenders but when she was at post she was friendly and tactful.”
