I requested a transfer from another pharmacy 3 days ago. This CVS most definitely got the scripts from my former pharmacy, because they told me they were closed out but somehow they lost them. Understaffed or not, there’s no excuse for doing half of a job when it comes to someone’s medications. Now I have to wait for my prescriber to resubmit them somewhere else.

Worst pharmacy in western MA. It really is .. the blonde middle aged woman is so rude , every time I go inside the store to p/u my medicine, she is yelling at someone. ( honestly ). Yells when someone asks her a question and states”
I am counting medicine!!!” Also, They fill
My medicine sometimes early , sometimes late. It’s 28 day supply so makes no sense. There’s no communication there and the actual
Pharmacists here are SO SO mean and SO rude. They hang up on you and lie about doctors sending scripts. It’s really obnoxious. Go to Riverdale in West Springfield instead.

CVS .com has a third party to your door delivery service which the local pharmacy takes no responsibility for how good the service is. They also cannot provide you info on how to complain to this so called "Roady" (name I got from the pharmacy attendant) company that does the delivery. There needs to be a way to complain about bad service. This pharmacy does not understand that the lack of good service by their subcontractor reflects badly on them. They need to take some level of responsibility as a CVS representative.

This CVS was my pharmacy for 7 years. Even after I moved a 45 minute drive away, I continued to make the drive monthly for scripts, which they synched. They were the friendliest pharmacr and most customer service oriented I've ever had.

Called in on August 9 at 1:33 - asked about a prescription and got snapped out. I'm sure the job is difficult but I needed the information.

Pharmacists are a truly busy lot these days, and most at this CVS are remarkably helpful, adroit and good humored. When someone is remarkably otherwise, it's worth mentioning since those not blessed with, or appreciative of the value of diplomacy, civility and congeniality toward customers (not to mention to be knowledgeable enough to not dispense the wrong information, the origin of this exchange) should be cited. One young lady in the pharmacy is indeed the latter. I needn't mention her name since I'm certain the other extremely amiable and courteous staff at this CVS are more than aware of her toxic attitude. Dismissive, adversarial, then outright confrontational. I'm sorry.

The cashier on July 31 around 4pm was so sweet that she even gave the little boy a lollipop and sticker for being a good boy in the store. They had the Flavor of Gatorade that I went looking for. It's not the newest building, but it's a great CVS with great workers.

The store and pharmacy have been closed since at least 9/7/2022. Signs have been placed on the windows and doors directing customers to the Northampton stores. No sign if this is permanent or temporary, and no notification given to customers who had pending or auto-refilled prescriptions to pick up—I kept getting texts saying my prescription was ready, but the building is closed. Called another local store to see if I could transfer my prescriptions there, and was told that the roof collapsed due to heavy rainfall. I hope that all employees are safe, but I wish the institutional response were a bit more cohesive.

3 times I have requested in person to a pharmacy technician that they call Walgreens to request a transfer of my prescriptions to this pharmacy. 3 times i have been told by the same blonde, elderly, female curmudgeon at the pharmacy register, that Walgreens does not answer their phone and could I call my physician to have a new prescription sent. The pharmacy situation in Easthampton is bad, and this unhappy, unhelpful, crone is CVS corp's contribution for keeping it that way.

There are constant problems refilling prescriptions even when the prescriptions have refills. They do things like give you oral suspensions, but forget to give you the syringe so you can actually measure and take the medication. It seems incredibly hard for them to get something right the first time. I have had interruptions in medications just waiting a week for them to get the med in stock or get their refill system to work. There are a couple of nice employees, but the majority look overworked and out of it. Not a good look for those who are dispensing medications!

I know what you're thinking, what do you expect? Literally, I expected to not feel bad enough to write a review. It was that bad.
