Today I spoke with Trish regarding the upcoming delivery season. I was concerned about the start of the LIHEAP approval process. Trish made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. She also suggested different ways to proceed prior to setting up deliveries. Thank You Trish!

After some phone difficulty I was happy that Veronica was able to assist with both my order for fuel oil and booking my furnace cleaning. She was very pleasant and patient, answering my questions.

Veronica was so kind and helpful as she helped me establish a new contract. My current contract was ending (but not yet completed) and she was able to schedule the final delivery so I could then create a new contract. I have been with Cernak for close to 20 years… I switched to them after my 2nd year in my home because the experience I had with the company who had been doing the service for my home prior to my purchasing it, was frustrating and I felt, quite overpriced…
I am thrilled with Cernak for many reasons, but the main one is their caring employees and professionalism. I have been in this home so long thst I have had a handful of different techs, but whoever they have working for them have always been extremely friendly and knowledgeable and appear when they say they will and always have been willing to explain and answer any questions I may have… for this, I am thankful. Donny has been my Service Tech for the last Few Years, and Donny is by far, my favorite Tech of all. Today was just a yearly service cleaning, which I have had done well over a dozen times, but Donny still managed to teach me something about my system that will make my life actually vastly easier for the years to come! How nobody had taught me to do this in years past, is shocking… but this is why Donny is my favorite tech. He takes extra time each visit to make sure to teach me more about my system and if he suggests doing something additional he will always explain to me why the suggestion was made and then let me make an informed decision about whether or not I would like to do it at that point or if I would prefer to wait. It’s never a heavy sale or an assumption that I will agree and he makes the decision for me.
I hope Cernak appreciates what an asset Donny is to their team… and as the owner of a small business myself, I would be thrilled to hear that my employees went above and beyond consistently to make my clients feel confident with their decision to use my business was the right one! Donny is a keeper, let him know he’s appreciated…(everyone loves a bonus or a gift card or something…🙃 just sayin’😜)!
End of a long story…. Even though Cernak was bought by HOP energy, the local staff is still the same… the bill may look different and the prices may have changed a bit… but the service is still the same awesome service Cernak has always provided.

It has been a pleasure having Cernak Fuel for the past 14 years after purchasing the family homestead from my siblings and my parents used Cernak Fuel before that time. You have worked with me and my family for many years and are always available if a problem arises. As a widow living on a limited income your payment plan is easy for me to manage. Thank you for working with me.

Not only are they the most expensive choice for my area, the customer service is the worst I've seen. They threaten to close my account because my tank was full and I told the delivery man I didn't need a fill. Then when I tried to cancel, they said I needed to put it in writing even though I called and told them on a recorded line. Stay away from Cernak. They got one star because I couldn't leave zero stars.
