“Mail-order comic warehouse, not a retail walk-in store, so not set up for general browsing - but as long as you are aware that this is the deal, this place is the best of the best for serious comic folx.Gary is a legend, and if you get a chance to interact with him, it will be an unforgettable experience.Super honest and thorough with evaluating collections, Gary pays competitive prices based on the actual market value of your comics - sell with confidence to one of the longest running comic dealers in the world - he's been doing it since nearly the beginning of these books! Origin and 1st app of Original Comic Book Dealer = Gary Dolgoff!Primarily selling through ebay at the moment, check the storefront on there for great deals on everything from sets of comics, TPBs, fanzines; little bit of everything really. And there's always auctions running for higher-end collectible back issues, keys, CGC gems, etc.. something for everyone!”
“My son is a student at UMass-Amherst and recommended this bookstore to me when I visited him. What a classic used-book store! Nothing but books, books, books. Very quiet. Very extensive collection of both commonly found used books and some very uncommon ones, include some nice collections. I highly recommend! And I will be back.”
“Probably the most organized and clean Barnes and Noble we have been to in Ma with the most friendliest of employees from the checkout to Starbucks , my kids and I enjoyed our experience here.
Keep it up !”

80 Maple St, Florence“I am so thrilled that someone has stepped in to take over running this store, which has been a favorite stop for decades. So many independent bookstores are gone now, and to take this on with they energy and style that the new owner has done is admirable. They’ve made a ton of progress bringing back a place that was long languishing, and are bringing new life to it with things like music, etc. Great selection, and I’ve seen some changes in a place that formerly didn’t have much movement of stock. Will everyone agree with everything they post or promote? I WOULD HOPE NOT! That’s how ideas work, and a bookstore trades in the diversity of ideas. The rest is commentary. READ.”
“"What's that, Mom?!"
'It's a book store, dear.'
"Uh...What's a book?"
Oh, what you miss if you don't read. The great smell of ephemera is worth a trip any day to B&N.
Still doing their best.
Lots of competition online but you really need to hold and see certain books before purchase”
“If you are like me and enjoy reading a book on a gloomy day then this is the place to go! Heritage has a great selection of used. Oils to choose from. Sure it's easy to order a book of off prime and have it couple days later. But there's just something really special about this place that keeps me coming back.”
“I visit once a year to fill up on books for grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. I am never disappointed, and neither are the kids. I refuse to frequent the box stores that exists to squash small independents and limit my choices.”
“Wonderful place for all ages. Art area for kiddos. Art to go bags. Comfy chairs for reading by oneself or with your kiddo(s). Nice selection of books. Pertinent subjects. Fun do dads.Information on public events in the area. Staff is very personable. I can't wait to bring my granddaughter again.?”
“Super cute book place with lots of personality. Really liked looking through the store and seeing what books and curiosities they had for sale. Super nice and helpful staff too!”
“This is by far one of the best bookshops I've ever been to. I Love the selection and the way the books are displayed. The place is super cozy and welcoming. Definitely a fan !”
“I have been shopping here for years. It's one of the only used book stores still around locally. It is owner-operated and friendly. There are a lot of gems but you do need to spend the time to look through the many books, but that's the fun and relaxing part. There's ample off-street parking and you can pay with debit card. I hope they stay in business for many years to come.”
“Great college bookstore. Useful supplies without wearing out the ole purse strings. The mechanical pencil section is beyond adequate with several graphite gauges, erasers, et cetera.Love the merch! We obtained several shirts and hot beverage containers --- all way less expensive than attending school there, and much easier to get in. You simply pull the door open.”
“What a charming bookstore! So welcoming and so much fun looking for treasures to read! The owner is incredibly gracious and went above and beyond helping us navigate all the wonderful books until we found the perfect ones! Excellent!”
