This is the most ghetto Stop and Shop, always feel like I am being watched. Dirty floors, scum on shelves bathrooms. Dirty surroundings. Homeless people living right outside their doors. Out-of-date food on shelves I always have to double check. Not so good looking produce. For how expensive things have become, do better Stop and Shop.

When did the average consumer become non-paid employees at Stop n Shop Wareham? I had just finished working a nine hour day and stopped in to pick up a few snacks for the grandchildren who were coming over to decorate the tree, approximately 20 items. At 4:00 pm in the afternoon there were only two registers open and one of those was for 12 items or less. All others had to go to self check-out. Every self check-out register was being used and most people had many items in the cart. The call for help light was going off at every register due to items not scanning correctly for whatever reason. There should be a sign not to bother with produce that needs to be weighed (not accepted and help light). There is no room to put more than a few items in the baggage area. It was the worse experience and I will never go back (I live ten minutes up the road). If my grandchildren were not waiting for me, I would have left the cart at the check-out and gone home. If I wanted to be a cashier, I would be a cashier. All the money being saved on payroll is not being passed on to the consumers. All items were more expensive than other places. The one star is only because the place was open. I will gladly travel the few extra miles to shop at Market Basket and Shaws.

I called two days ago and informed you of the FDA recall of Vidalia onions. Your rep sounded not concerned at all. I went in today to purchase onions since I had to toss the three I bought two days ago. Your store has a full stock of Vidalia onions on the shelf and ready to go bags. I told a store clerk today about recall as well! Please remove the listeria covered onions from your produce area!! People are going to get sick even though your store has been informed twice. You even reduced the Vidalia onions on the app , they show on “sale”! This is irresponsible and a tremendous liability level .

Dear Stop n Shop: You have made a major mistake in eliminating the butcher department. Now we can no longer get custom cuts of meat and have to choose from the prepackaged meat that is shipped in from who knows where. Why did you put a butcher case in if you're not going to cut any meat to order. All the items in case case are shipped in, stripped from their packaging and placed in the case to appear as if it was freshly cut. Thank goodness Shaws and Market Basket still provide that valuable customer service for their patrons. I like steak 1 1/2 inches thick, I like to have the bones separated from my Prime Rib Roast, and now you will not provide this service.

Too bad there's no minus a star options here. That being said, this Stop and Shop is the absolute worst managed one in all of New England! I don't even know where to start. Let me begin with the meat. I'm tired of buying meet only to find out it's bad when I get home. Also, I've been hounding them to order more A & W diet root beer. They simply never have it. I spoke to a manager about this, but things didn't change. Finding basic items in here is a task in itself. Whole wheat hog dog rolls is another product I can never get there. Some of the employees are rude. I asked one worker if she knew who was responsible for cleaning the Men's room because there was a woman in there cleaning up with about four men in there. She said, "how the hell do I know?" On my way in one afternoon I told the kid who was taking the head count that the hand sanitizer was empty he responded "oh well"! Oh, and in closing, this whole idea of changing the location of all the products created insanity. I used to know where everything was, now it's just a guessing game. The rank and file employees are great, but management are horrible.

Extremely disappointed to see this store call the cops this morning on someone who they suspected of shoplifting (because he didn't scan a few items in self-checkout). What could have been a calm conversation with a man who had few items in his cart to begin with who said he was a) exhausted from work and b) had Aspberger's turned into FOUR police plus store security and a manager turning a young man into a spectacle and holding up traffic in the parking lot. Is loss prevention REALLY so important that you have to mortify people in the process? It's Christmas during a pandemic; give people a break.

Stopped in there to pick up a few items.Found Some spray disinfectantby accident.
During the covid-19 pandemic ocean spray is levying a 2% surcharge that is paid directly to the employees. Very nice gesture for their employees. We be nice if the employers with also match a 2% bonus to their employees as well.

Horrible Horrible store. Dirty ,outdated food. Shelves empty or products missing. They like to blame covid however I see other stores fully stocked so what's the problem ? Their only idea of customer service is rude & nasty. I don't have anything nice or positive to say about this store. I won't be going back.

Shout out to 2 wonderful employees of Stop & Shop, Erin and Arianna. This particular Stop & Shop, I found out, only has 1 working handicap electric skooter and when I needed to do some shopping yesterday the only cart was being used. I asked the young lady Arianna if she would check the other entrance for me for another cart and she told me there was only 1. However she offered to do my shopping for me ,that's when Erin stepped in and offered to help. I gave them my short list, they got a chair for me to sit in and off they went. They took care of business and Erin even tracked me down outside in my car when she found that 2 of my ideas had been forgotten at the checkout. So a big kudos to Erin and Arianna but a big thumbs down to Stop & Shop for only having 1 of 3 electric handicap skooters in working order.
