They came exactly when they said they would; they fixed our old refrigerator and oven. We had given up on the oven - no longer being made, other appliance companies (Cape Appliance - different company) wouldn't even send someone out, and said we'd never be able to get parts. We had given up and were already looking for a new range. But Cape Cod Appliance took one look at it, said we needed a new igniter, and replaced it on the spot. Very happy with their service and their competence.

Bob senior and junior are outstanding. They can repair anything and are very trustworthy. Both are very pleasant, honest and efficient with their time and your money. I can't say enough good things about their service and reliability. Even their customer service phone coordinator is exceptional.

They came out to diagnose a washing machine that was not operating correctly charged me 200 dollars to tell me it was the control board. They would order the part and in few days come back and install . He specifically told me the return trip parts and labor would be four hundred dollars. So decision time do I spend 600 dollars total or buy a new washing machine. I opted to have them back. I wasn't there but when I got the bill it was 624.00 dollars for the return trip plus the 200 I already spent. This is bullshit and if I was there would have thrown him out on his ass. Stay away from this rip off company. Funny they called at 11:27 am said they were at the house he called back at 12:13 said he was done and was in the truck waiting for my card info. On the bill it said extra labor time 140 dollars. Wow 47 minutes to install or less and that's extra labor time. Stay away from these rip off artists on cape cod. Im sure they would justify it but I know what I heard

You’re better off buying a new appliance… they came out and charged us $130 to order a part. They ordered the wrong part 3x and then charged us full price of over $400 to fix it. Took them 5 months to fix it. Then they don’t send you an invoice. They just call you multiple times saying you owe them money. Not worth the hassle.

I asked them to repair dryer that didn’t work because the door didn’t close. I told them it needed a hinge on the phone. He came out and looked and said it needed a hinge and he had to order one. That was $129 for the first visit of 5 minutes to say that. Then on the second visit he charged an additional $191 to replace the hinge, including $75 labor, $45 for hinge, $44 for door strike, and $22 for shipping!! I therefore paid $320 for a hinge to be replaced. The dryer worked fine. The only issue was the door wouldn’t stay closed. I was totally taken advantage of.

My refrigerator quit on me on a very hot Thursday night. I called Cape Cod Appliance and Friday morning Bob was at my house to fix the problem. He was very professional and personable, the necessary part was in his truck. My fridge was up and running beautifully. Everything in my fridge survived the trauma, even the milk. Anyone wants appliance repair I HIGHLY recommend Cape cod Appliance. Price was reasonable too. Thanks Bob.KM

I don't write reviews often, unless they are exceptional or disastrous. In this case, I felt it was important to warn others about Cape Cod Appliance Service. I have a Miele Coffee maker that started to leak water. The service guy made the visit, diagnosed the problem as needing replacement of the water reservoir and the gasket. He charged me $149 for this. Then he came back a couple of weeks later and charged me $336, for a total of $485 to basically replace a plastic container and a gasket. An obnoxious portion of this was parts cost. This is a classic case of shamelessly gauging a customer. While he was here the first time, I had him look at replacing a light bulb in the hood above my range. The socket holding the light bulb was behind the panel and would need to be replaced too, since it was loose. He charged me $45 to diagnose the problem, which took him three mins max. He came back and replaced the socket and put in a new light bulb, for a whopping $185 (prices are close but not exact). Buyer beware! These guys will rip you off if you let them. They are NEVER coming back to my house.

-0 stars!! $415.75 to replace hinges on a 2yr old oven door? Only 1 hinge broken. Gave a false estimate and what is difference between a service charge and technical service fee. Are they not one in the same? Never ever will I use them again and wished I even thought of looking at yelp reviews. I could have bought a new oven for this amount. And get this. You can't hold the oven door open to put something in without in springing shut...irate

Don't bother calling them for warranty work. They refused to service my LG dishwasher.

Cape Cod Appliance provided excellent warranty service on our DCS Gas Range. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem where others failed. Communications and scheduling were excellent. We are finally up and running in time for Thanksgiving.
