I have purchased from Whites for close to 35 years. If it is an outstanding wardrobe you are looking for Whites is the go to store. I recently moved back to NE from Florida and checking out Whites was at the top of my list. Kathy is the best..., patient, knowledgeable and she had a great sense of style!!!! When I was working I bought almost all my wardrobe from Whites.

Have been buying my clothes from Whites for years. My father referred me to them in my twenties, when I first shopped for career clothes. I've had countless compliments over the years and inquiries about where I find such distinctive, elegant and fun clothing. They know what I like and what I already have in my closet and steer me away from rut-buying! The Whites are warm, smart, fashion-forward people who truly cater to their clients!

I love this store! Not only do they have an amazing selection of quality items, I adore the owners. My mother happens to be a regular here and whenever I go in to pick her gifts or grab a gift certificate I am always greeted warmly and tended to as a friend. They help me pick items they think my mother would enjoy (they probably know better than me) and they wrap everything so beautifully. If you are looking for a bargin bin or a super slashed discount sale, stick to the big box stores. If you are looking for UNIQUE, quality items that will LAST and want to support local business- give A.O White a try.

Whilst I heard about the tone in the store from surrounding towns, I had to experience the negative comments for myself. The energy in the store is toxic. By this I mean.......... A strong scent of snootiness in the air. I went in dress in my hippie clothes, after shopping the farmers market and the service I got was poor, especially for a local store. Is this Macy's??? OR a speciality store????? I have received better service at much lower end stores. You can find the same brand they have there on line, but cheaper. Shop the specific brand you like from there and get a coupon on line. That's what we did, after working with a salesperson that was way too into judging the way I was dressed, we wrote down the brand, googled it, went on line and got a 20% coupon off for first time buyers. Also, the clothing is VERY OLD LADY. I will never return due to the service and bad energy in the space and tell others the same.
