“The front desk staff, the vet tech, and the vet were friendly and kind. When I called to book the initial appointment, whoever I talked to at the front desk specifically scheduled me with a vet who is great with cats and the appointment was only a couple of weeks out. The whole facility is clean, bright, and cheery. The vet and vet tech were wonderful with my very nervous cats. They gave a lot of great tips, were nonjudgemental, and any treatments were very well explained and I was not pushed to do anything right away. Would highly recommend!”
“I would recommend this vet! Unfortunately, my boy was 13 years old and very sick. I had brought him to Swansea ER vet twice previously within the prior 2 weeks. They essentially gave him a very grim diagnosis, but wanted more tests to the tune of $3k. When I took him to Taunton, he was critically ill, they agreed that it was his time. No BS, no additional tests, or more $, was going to change that. As sad as this was for us, they were honest and compassionate to both myself and my dying cat. They took care of everything. They even sent us card after with messages from the entire staff and his paw print. I will absolutely bring my next kitty there from day one. I'm not there yet, but they will 100% be my vet when I am.”
“Dr. Veira and staff took such good care of my baby Zayne yesterday. He had 4 mass removals and they made sure every question and concern I had was thoroughly addressed. Julie especially, thank you again. Julie has a heart of gold and you can certainly tell by how she cares for customers and more importantly their pets comfort and wellness. Owner and exceptional veterinarian Dr. Susan Harrington is a wonderful and inclusive minded person. She truly loves animal and holds herself and her staff to the highest standards in caring for them.
Staff like her is outstanding- knowledgeable, well trained, hardworking and efficient- always available to answer calls, and emails, providing information promptly and answering all questions with great thought and consideration.
When visiting, I am confident my beloved canine companion is receiving the best vital health care possible. There is no one I would trust more with my pets needs than RAH.”
“Very companionable. I had to put my dog down. Hind legs were so we had to pick her up not to pee herself.5 stars from me. 1/2 the price Floyde Harbor wanted to charge me. “Dr. McAdam and her team are absolutely top notch!! I have only been lucky enough to use her services once. When my mother's cat wasn't eating, we brought her to South Shore Animal Services as a second opinion after spending an extraordinary amount over multiple visits at another vet and coming to no resolution. Within minutes of the appointment, Dr. M identified a likely tumor in the cat's abdomen by touch (using her hands). X-rays confirmed the worst and our cat is now over the rainbow bridge.In this sensitive moment, Dr. M and team went above and beyond to comfort my elderly mother and make her cat as comfortable as possible in her last moments. This combination of endless compassion for both humans and animals involved combined with the knowledgeable, high quality care is not something to take for granted. I'm extremely grateful, thank you!”

“Dr. Johnson and all staff are compassionate, patient and really go above and beyond. My cat Khai was diagnosed with CKD at only 6 years old. We’ve received incredible care and compassion. What I appreciate most is Dr. Johnsons patience in answering all of my questions. Because of the great staff here, Khai is stable and comfortable. He’s defying odds and we’re thankful for everyday we have with him.”
“Every vet and vet tech is amazing, a small practice with all the professionalism, knowledge and care that comes from the experience of the owner, Dr. Keith Hopkins. He is quiet, kind and confident and he and his team are always friendly and accommodating. We have two dogs, one a bit older and Dr. Hopkins was able to remove some lumps in the least invasive, lowest risk way possible. It sounds cliche, but they put you at ease and make the whole process as easy as possible. I recommend without hesitation.”

The vet can always be stressful when you have a reactive dog, but I am so grateful for the great lengths Dr. Cowe and the staff have gone through to make my pup more comfortable. “My family has been going to BAH for years with my childhood dog and now that i have animals of my own i started bringing them there too. I wish i could leave 10 stars for them, every single person that works in the office is so patient, understanding and compassionate. This past year has been a rollercoaster with my cats unexpected health problems and there has been a handful of emergency visits/after hour calls. They not only prioritize my cats health, but they always make sure i am okay with everything that goes on as well. I am moving in a couple weeks to North Carolina and i will say, parting ways with BAH will be the most difficult part of the move.”

“My dog had a pigmentation disease in both eyes and 2 popped ulcers in his left eye. Dr Donahue saved my dog’s sight. He’s exceptionally smart, diligent and respectful. He showed me what he saw and provided options before having to do surgery. I highly recommend him!”

“Bonnie (and Erin) came to examine my 12 year old 120# Yellow Lab Cooper yesterday. I can't say enough good things about their service. Bonnie was recommended by Cooper's former Vet due to the fact it's very difficult and stressful to Coop to get him in the car for a visit to the Vet's office. The exam was very thorough and I felt as if they were caring for their own pet. They cleaned his ears, checked him from head to toe and gave me some solution to help with a growth on his back. Great service and very nice folks!”
