Ok so I wanted to give an honest review. The vibe of this salon is really nice. The stylist and the receptionist are all lovely and accommodating. I had my mom go here and paid as a present for her and her stylist did an amazing job and spent a lot of time on her service and she had a great experience. I have to mention, I have very thick and curly hair. I did mention that when I booked my appointment as the color usually takes an hour+ itself and I wanted to make sure they had enough time. I am happy with the color service and I felt like the hairstylist listened to what I wanted and executed it well! I’m taking off points for the haircut. A week after my hair service ($260 and tip) I went to get my hair done for a wedding. She showed me how choppy and uneven my hair cut was. She said I should go back to the salon and have it fixed, but she fixed it for me during the styling for the wedding and had to trim my hair for the style I was wearing to look good. I didn’t notice because normally I wear my hair curly so it’s hard to tell if the layers are even. I was disappointed because I felt like for the price the hair cut should have been executed better. I know my hair appointment cut into the next appointment so an assistant finished my style so I felt like the haircut itself was rushed. Also I will mention, I have gotten my hair done 20+ times professionally. My last hairstylist moved to a different salon and that’s why I stopped getting my hair done. I’ve never had my hair brushed as aggressively as this appointment. To be fair, my hair tangles really quickly and it’s annoying for even me but yeah the brushing was super painful. My mom had the opposite experience and had a great relaxing time. I would rate my experience overall a 3.5 out of 5.

Highly recommend this salon, especially Destinee. I’ve been seeing her for 7 years. She is highly knowledgeable, professional and never disappoints!

Absolutely recommend!! Had a last minute prom hair fail and they were able to fit me in within a few hours for a wash, dry, and curl!! My hair was exactly what I wanted and the curls held up so well through the night!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Benny and how she does my hair. I used to switch stylists all the time because I could never find someone that could cut and color my hair well. The first time Benny did my cut and color I got proposed to the very same day by someone at the gas station. I swear she sprinkles in magic. When she moved from a different salon I moved with her even though it’s an hour drive if I’m lucky.The new spot for Revolutions Salon is great - everyone is nice and as a millennial the music played makes me so happy.Thanks Benny, you are the best!
