THEY LOSE DOGS!!!Not only do they lose dogs but they also physically abuse them. Do not bring your dog to this horrible place. The owner only cares about money he doesn’t care about your beloved pet!!

Most awesome kennel I have ever used. We come from out of state and visit in Massachusetts, and we bring our dogs to Duxbury Kennels because they are far more superior than any kennel I've used in Connecticut. The people are wonderful with our dogs, the boarding prices are reasonable and my dogs like it there. Kudos to Duxbury Kennel in The Pines.

I booked online and was told someone would call to confirm reservation and no one bothered to call. Why allow people to make an online reservation if it’s not available and if it’s not then how about a courtesy call? Annoyed

I boarded my two dogs for 2 weeks as I was leaving the country for a wedding. I filled out the sheet they give you when you board your dog asking about how much food they eat, medications, and if they want to be included in playgroup. I have two active, friendly Golden's, so I of course wanted them in playgroups. When I came to pick them up the total price due was astronomical. They did not communicate the additional price for playgroup. It was an extra $18 a day per dog. When I questioned them about it they got defensive and told me I would get a call back which I never received. I just wish it was communicated to me that it was extra money for them to play with other dogs. Are they just supposed to sit in their kennels all day long aside from potty breaks?? I am just super disappointed that the sheet wasn't clear on the extra costs. I also was Disappointed with the care they received because when I picked them up they smelled like they had been laying in their own urine. Also staff was not very friendly or caring at all, when I asked about the dogs and how they were all I got was "good". I will definitely not be returning.

Went for a tour recently I was pretty disgusted with both the kennel area and play area filthy dirty all dogs were penned up and barking excessively it smelled awful! I'm glad I was able to tour before I made the bad decision to even do daycare or god forbid boarding!!! I felt so bad for the pups that were in the cages either being boarded or daycare. Please if you love and care about your fur babies DO NOT BOARD THEM or drop THEM AT DAYCARE HERE!! Ugh !!!

My dog has been going to Duxbury Kennels for 10 years. She absolutely loves going there. I love that she's freshly bathed and wearing a cute scarf when I pick her up. Irene and Juan couldn't be any nicer.

The dogs there bark constantly and they literally never stop. Work in the area and never see them outside. Maybe they go out a half an hour a day? I wanted to shoot myself after working In the area for a week hearing 20 dogs barking non-stop, for hours and hours and hours and hours. Been to kennels before and it’s not exactly how it’s supposed to be ? AT ALL. Horrifying. Idk what most peoples standards are, but maybe try going by there and listening sometime for a few hours anytime of day. Doesn’t matter what time it is. If a dog can die of stress it will from the ENDLESS torture of all the dogs barking in cages while a chick sits in a chair in case someone comes in - instead of having a buzzer or bell while attending to the dogs cus no one’s stopping by constantly. She or someone could actually do something. Can not imagine living in ear shot.
