“Has the best customer service I've ever experienced with a vet. My cat was recently diagnosed with stage 2 chronic kidney disease. They have been beyond helpful in answering all my questions, telling me which food to switch him to and what care he will need. They turned my panic about this diagnoses to a calm. Really happy I decided to take my cats to this vet. 100% recommend them.”

“Amazing!!! My 3 YO pup had bloody stool on a Saturday after being "off" all week
my primary vet couldn't see him and recommended we not wait until Monday.
They recommended Veterinary Urgent Care. The office wasnt weren't open yet but I was able to make a same day appointment online. Super easy. They took my fur baby as soon as we arrived and they spent over 90 minutes with him. They were patient and thorough and even though he was uncomfortable and not happy with parts of the exam, they were very caring and professional and so loving with him. He's better today because of Dr. Holmes treatment,thank God. If he ever needs urgent care again, I WILL DEFINITELY go there again. Highly recommended.”

“My cat Buddy had some scary experiences at local area vets where they actually harmed him and he developed GI issues due to the stress of their insensitive handling, and he became terrified of vet visits. Luckily, I've discovered BetterVet mobile vets and they are awesome. Our current vet is Dr. Peter Gollub and he is wonderful! In addition to being a very smart & skilled vet, he's kind, patient, and understanding of my cat's nervousness. He and the staff he arrives with always take their time talking with us and going over any and all concerns, and he's very gentle and "calming" with Buddy. He's the only vet who was able to get Buddy to approach him to eat treats from his hand. Also, the online service is quick and easy to use, and I always get a response from them immediately when I use the online chat feature. Highly recommended!”
“Everyone at WVC was so kind and friendly to me and Dallas. They took great care of Dallas and made sure he was comfortable and got plenty of treats the whole time! I felt that prices were reasonable, and the appointment only took 30 minutes. Would highly recommend!”

“Doctor Binder is truly amazing! Her compassion and kindness for her patients goes beyond words I could explain. She talks to them as if they were her own. She is very honest and will not do unnecessary testing without discussing all pros and cons first. I travel over 30 minutes to bring my cats and dog to her. The staff in the office are so nice and overall the most perfect vet office in my opinion. The one or two times I urgently had to bring my cat in and Dr Binder wasn’t there, the other vet in the office was just as kind. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.”
“We love City Cats! We've gone there for a few years now, and the staff has always been kind and helpful. We actually moved to the South Shore but still keep our appointments with City Cats, because they're that good. Dr. Palopoli and the other staff are so caring and I've always found the whole practice transparent in terms of pricing and test options. I've never felt 'taken advantage of' like I have in the past at other practices. Highly recommend :)”
“NEVER have I EVER seen a vet being so invested, so thorough, so caring about my dog. I am in awe..I came here for a second opinion for my dogs health issue, before simply accepting what my original vet said, and man am I glad I did. Dr Levine went above & beyond to make sure that he had researched ALL options before letting my dog undergo surgery, and guess what? He doe not necessarily need surgery - Dr Levine had alternatives, very well thought out alternatives that he carefully discussed eith me, and I just could not be happier! Thank you!!”
“Pinto is a very sweet dog with very high anxiety around veterinary treatment, specifically onset during the COVID pandemic. Back Bay Veterinary Clinic -- and Dr. Graham in particular -- has been SO wonderful in working with us to figure out the best way to make sure he is calm and comfortable so that he can get the care he needs! I recommend Back Bay Vet to ALL of my friends with pets, but especially anyone with a ~* special *~ dog like Pinto.”
“I moved to Boston in June 2023 and was referred to South Bay by our dog walker. From the beginning we have found the team and veterinarians to be compassionate, responsive and skilled on their care of our two dogs. Recently our 12 year old retriever mix has had health issues and I’m sad to say that yesterday we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize her. Dr Baker was so incredibly kind and patiently talked us through options, gave us privacy to make the decision, and allowed us to gather the family to be with our beloved dog as she crossed the rainbow bridge. I am grateful to have had this support during this sad time and going forward to care for our other dog.”

“My dog has been seen here several times and I feel she receives good, thorough care. Recently her typical vetrinarian couldn't see her so we saw the other one, Dr Henry. She was wonderful. I love a vet that gets down on the floor just to say hello. They recommended a course of action, ran the proposed invoice by me, and I left feeling well taken care of. It might be a little pricey but we have pet insurance so I always go with the recommended plan. The only drawback is that it always takes a long time. Plan for a longer visit than expected.”

“We were very happy with Dr. Chelsea. She had obviously spent time reviewing our questionnaire and listened to our concerns attentively. She thoroughly answered all our questions and explained the reasons behind her recommendations clearly. Everyone was great! The woman who checked us in was very accommodating. Slider seemed to have a rude fascination with Rita (I hope I'm remembering her name correctly), yet she was nonplussed and handled it well. As I mentioned, Dr. Chelsea was fabulous. And two other staff members even pitched in at the end to corral Slider when he attempted a jail break. Overall, the vibe was very calm and welcoming.”
“Our sweet boy had an amazing experience here. I’m so glad we found Dedham Vet. We had a very traumatizing experience at our previous vet where they mishandled our boy (force holding him down and dragging him by the collar) not once but twice which resulted in him being completely fearful of going back in. It turns out we just needed the right team of compassionate people who truly care. Tiffany and Dr Bolduc took their time with us and everything went completely smooth. We’ve been here a few times now and every staff member I’ve interacted with has been nothing short of wonderful. We can’t wait to be back in a few months for our next visit. :)”

“I didn't put a review at the time my eldest cat was being cared for here, but Boston Animal Hospital took wonderful care of my now passed cat that I had for almost 14 years. She was very temperamental, particular, and hated going to the vet. BAH was great at creating a calmer environment and anticipating our visits by calling and being able to schedule picking up gabapentin for my easily distressed cat. They helped us when she was diagnosed with diabetes and through the progression of the disease. They were so hospitable and caring when she passed away and gave me space to spend with her after her final moments. It is an animal hospital that can accommodate more fickle, distressed cats and I'm glad that we found BAH.”
“If I could give them 20 stars, I would. This place and these people are GOD SENDS. My two little dogs are my whole world and they have taken such incredible care of them, I have cried out of gratitude. I moved here from out of state and I couldn’t get in any vet for months. When my one dog needed potentially emergent surgery they squeezed her in the next day and we have been going there ever since. I love these people and am so incredibly grateful for them.”

“Dr mertz is great. I've been bringing a variety of animals to him over the last 10+ years. And prices are amazing for the services. I need to call them soon actually to make an appointment for my tortoises to get their nails and beaks trimmed! I've brought chickens here as well.They do take wildlife for rehab. Call first and make sure you go to the correct door for wildlife. It's not the same as the regular vet section.You can also take a tour of the facility. I think it's like 5 for self guided and 10 for a guided one. I always learn something when I'm there”

What I appreciated most about Angell is being treated with respect and honesty and knowing my pets are in experienced and caring hands. Although Tufts is closer to my current home, a recent experience there sent me back to Angell. For decades Angell has cared for my animal family members and I will continue to rely on them in the years to come.”
“I take both of my cats to VCA Metro but one of them has been in to see them more times than any of us would like over the past few months. Though I will be needing to take him to a specialist for whatever he has going on, the staff here has been great. They’re quick to respond whenever I contact them, always manage to fit us in when needed, and the front desk staff is friendly and compassionate. They even reach out occasionally between appointments to see how Merlin is doing. I hope I don’t have to see them again anytime soon but I appreciate them! Haha”
