I don't go anymore, but in the past it was the best, never turned me away, always helped even when there was insurance issues/confusion, they have literally saved my life twice or more times. Specifically Sister Nelson whom I think has retired and Kathleen Berry (if I'm spelling her name correctly) and the staff were kind and patient, nice waiting areas as well.

Booked an appointment 5 months ago. There was 3 individual that heard the appointment date and time. Somehow the appointment time got changed and screws patient. Second issue book appointment 3 months in advance just our luck doc calls out sick understandable but why aren’t we getting a call to reschedule? I have to show up to get the info and reschedule for another 2 to 3 months away. Wish that when we book an appointment a confirmation is sent at time of booking in case there is a mistake and not only a few days before appointment. As a result moving my household to a different clinic.

Doctors and nurses are amazing, but the people on the phone suck!! they are super rude and sound like they don’t want to be there at all!!

Who ever is working the phones this morning, lady you are miserable. Front desk is so rude, unhelpful. Doctors and nurses are amazing. But the front desk, specifically today is a nightmare.

Every year it gets worse!!! They don't have walk in, they don't provide urgent care to their community, especially knowing they serve a community filled with non speaking English individuals. They don't have early hours or long hours. You mind as well switch To BMC, Upham's corner community center, they have long hours, urgent care, walk-in and etc. Plus provide services for Cape Verdean speaking individuals and Spanish, Haitian and etc. I know at least four Doctors that told me, that they no longer like what Beth Israel is doing with this center. If you need to see your doctor by request of a school nurse or work and it's an urgent matter, don't bother calling, the representative are helpless and the center as well. They need to shut them down. Or fix their issues.

My family filled prescriptions at Walgreens bowdoin before it closed down. Its great to be back to the wonderful pharmacy, Minh and his team here at bowdoin health center

Went in for a scheduled exam and have tests done and after waiting a few days for the results.. I call to see the status, their response “we lost your specimen I’m sorry could you come back in and redo it” like really??? So unprofessional, disrespectful staff no one can ever get on the same page. If you have another choice, don’t go here!!!!!

It’s disheartening to read all these negatives reviews. These issues should be brought to management/Director's at the clinic contact BI their affiliate Beth Israel Hospital to see how you can bring these issue to their attentions. With that being said I work with a few ppl their and they are amazing and have helped me many times.

Spent 3 hours outside of the Covid testing clinic at this location. Was provided sheet of intake info for Covid exposure, etc. Because I had never been to this clinic I needed a MRN to get tested. After four different 30 min phone calls on hold, I was still unable to get assistance. I was not provided with any alternative options and was told to just stay on hold. If people didn’t have Covid, I’m sure they all have colds now from waiting in the cold for hours.

Barbara Mendes is a horrible doctor. I came in for a SCHEDULED appointment for my daughter she never showed up. I was waiting over 30 minutes. No apologies or to let me know she was running late. I was informed that she is always late! Very inconsiderate in regards to new patient’s needs and very unprofessional ! What is the point of scheduling appointments when you are over 1 hour behind INTENTIONALLY, and this is normal??? I gave my phone number for the manager/ director to call about this issue and it has been over a month and no return call.
