I remember when the father said a lot people only visit the Church on Ash Wednesday, they need to visit the church, do what God said. Be good person, God is love.

Great welcoming community. The priest Father Marcos goes above and beyond to help you receive the sacraments. The choir and the Mass in Spanish are the best in Boston.

The mass in English and Spanish are equally understandable.
It has several schedules and the children do not get bored.
The music is great.
Blessings and greetings.

Love this church. It is in walking distance of my house however I would like to see that it provides masses during the week instead of just during the weekends.

When it comes to churches in Dorchester, they don't get more local than St Mark's parish. The consummate community center, this church runs events year round for the local community and is one of the area's oldest buildings, still going strong after in operation for over 100 years. Sunday masses are all in the morning, starting at 7am and the last one for 11:30am. It's the perfect place for an old school Catholic wedding and can house a decent number of people. The aisles and pews aren't exactly that comfy, but part of the charm in houses of religion is relishing their roots. Parking gets a little tricky as there is a lot in the back and street parking all around the block. Another warning is to beware of the summers here - there is no air conditioning in the building. I'm happy to report the bathrooms are fairly clean and the lower level where they're located is significantly less stuffy than it is in the main chapel.
