All self-checkout,not even ONE actual cashier available at 11:30am on a Tuesday in September. Prices are outrageous ,and after checking out on your own pay for two paper bags that you fill yourself. This place is a total disaster

Worst store ever, rude and unhelpful employees, disorganized, poorly stocked. I am angry every time I leave this store! I hate that it's the most convenient to my home!

Unhinged self checkout experience. The self checkout system required an assistant to manually key in items, rescan, and override errors for every item in our cart. Ineffective only begins to describe the “new” self checkout machine. I was there for so long that I began to wonder if I accidentally agreed to be an employee. Be sure to allot at least 8hrs to checkout your groceries.

This place is a joke. I went in there yesterday around 6:30 p.m. and there was 6, that's SIX people working behind the deli. I went up to the counter and was ignored by EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. 2 of them were cutting meat for the precut section of the deli, while the remaining 4 screwed around with each other laughing and hugging and not doing anything to help. Then along comes a manager. I know this because he wore regular clothing yet walked behind the deli to speak with the people having a grand old time. Think he told them to get back to work and help me? No such luck. He chit chatted with them, also ignored me, and went on his way. So I decided to leave with no meat, because, surprise surprise, there was also no pre-cut meat either. When I came home I decided to drop an email to corporate Stop and Shop to tell them about this horrible service, and to nobody's surprise I have yet to hear back from them. So not only are their lower level employees completely incompetent, so are the upper level people. If you see some lame attempt at Stop and Shop to amend somebody's bad review, by saying, "please contact us at this address....." don't buy it. And I would avoid buying anything from them. Try Market Basket.

Fresh and diverse produce. They stand behind their products. I like the homemade soaps they offer. Little touches like that make me happy

Had to go to this grocery store in the area. It’s quite large and had everything you could need. They also have a Starbucks! If a grocery store is needed, would recommend checking it out. Good prices as well.

To the people that are complaining about the cashier and the sale prices being an x cashier of this company because now I'm retired. We have no control over what is put in to the machines at all. So if something didn't come up for sale, that is not the cashier's fault. That would be the mean offices fault. We have nothing to do with that. That being said, I know how to override the system myself because I done in a million times but since I don't work there anymore I don't have to do it. The lady that was complaining that it was 5 minutes of 10 and an employee said go get what you need really fast. Yeah 5 minutes of 10. They don't change the times on the website. They do post it on the store doors. The hours will change in the spring. It'll be 12:00 in Dennis and it is 11:00 in Yarmouth. So please don't be upset that the you know yes you shouldn't have. Somebody should not have been rude to you, but think about it as a learning curve. You know I worked in retail for 45 years. I went through the pandemic. I went through the very beginning of the pandemic and I hated every single solitary second of it because all the customers did was yell and scream it. As because we didn't have this we didn't have that prices or high. We have no control over any of that at all so please be a little bit more considerate to the people that are waiting on you and those stores and stop complaining about it. Put yourself in their shoes for a change. Thank you

No cashiers open, all self checkout. Only one worker working for the entire self checkout and all self checkout machines constantly lock and require an employee to unlock. I spent more time in line waiting for assistance than actually doing my shopping. Whoever does the staffing needs to have more assistance at self checkout because it was absolutely ridiculous.
