The sign by the road read ‘Open Today’; the sign in the window read ‘Open’; the door to the book shop was, indeed, open. When I walked in with my wife I still felt I had to ask if they were open. The (presumed) owner snapped, “No.”I wanted to support a small, locally-owned bookshop on vacation - guess I’ll just be buying my used books on Amazon instead.

We visited, however, posted hours indicated they should be open but they were not. I sent a text to the number on the website but never received a response. We really wanted to check this place out.

We were waiting to check into our hotel, we grabbed a bag of books for $5. My sister also found a bolt of curtain material for $1. I will definitely be back to look inside,never made it that far ? next time I'm down in Yarmouth MA. Great selections & everyone took a few for their own collections at home. Highly recommended.

Cute little store. Not many picture books for our child, but a few to browse. Limited stock, but nice to stop in on a rainy day. Owner was super friendly and offered to help me in the one step in for my wheelchair.
