Horrible customer service and terrible auction results for my items. I feel they were sold quickly to someone in the gallery who is bidding for the auction gallery. Terrible reputation, discourteous representatives and questionable performance on all fronts.

My wife and I have dealt with the Eldreds Auction House for well over 10 years. We have attended in House auctions and internet auctions and each and every time we have been 100% satisfied.Their people are knowledgebale and accurate as well as pleasant to deal with. We consider Eldreds to be the top of the line of the Nprtheast auction Houses. We hope to purchase many more items from them and when it becomes time for us to sell they will be the only company we will trust with our antiques. We justpurchased multiple items at the recent event and could not be more pleased with the entire process.

Usually, I don't write comments about companies, but this time I must do it to prevent others from being disappointed by this company's poor service. They only sell old and damaged stuff without any concern for customer satisfaction or respect for the money paid. Terrible experience. Nonexistent customer service.

Buyer beware of the lazy and inaccurate descriptions, lack of photos and poor condition reports.View your items in person if you can! Undisclosed damage is common and even wavered in thier condition reports.Pick your items up immediately or it may be missing parts and (or) have damage.They used to be one of the best?

If you list something for auction they take 25% fee for selling it for you. Seems a higher than I thought they would charge.

Been a customer for a long long time, consigned , purchased and sent several people to Eldreds ( still waiting for the referral check btw ) watched as the buyer's premium has risen to 25% which hurts the seller, but what has taken the proverbial cake was this, purchased a beautiful oil on canvas painting for a lot of money went to pick it up and it is lying on the floor I ask for some bubble wrap to protect my purchase and was told NO! We are keeping our packing cost down and do NOT provide and bubble wrap or packing!!! As I'm standing there in shock I'm looking at the girl behind the counter in the packing area who told me no and there is a 8 foot roll of bubble wrap directly behind her!! You can't make this up! I bid in every maritime auction and usually win a few items and now Eldreds has lost a good customer and walking advertisement over $2.00 worth of bubble wrap! Nice work Eldreds great policy

Won two very hard to find items at one of their auctions and paid for them. Their shipping department stated that they couldn’t ship one of the items due to it being under glass, a painting. I secured another shipper and when they went to pick up both items the more expensive lot could not be found. Eldred’s neither stated it was lost or stolen. They did not file a police report nor an insurance claim. They refunded me for the one item and referred me to their attorney. I would never recommend this auction house to anyone. The owner/president of the company never had the courtesy to return my call.

I have had numerous interactions with many people at Eldred's Auction and found everyone to be knowledgeable and friendly. I love that each person has a special area of expertise and takes the time to share that knowledge. They clearly care for and respect both the client and the art. Great people and trustworthy establishment. Highly recommend.

Great experience with Eldred's in purchasing a number of items. Most recently I purchased a small painting that is just beautiful. They also safely pack and ship your items at a reasonable cost. Great auction house!
