I enjoyed my visit to Cleat & Anchor. The atmosphere was very Cape Code, very good vibes. The drinks were amazing, and the food was delicious. The drag show was awesome. I highly recommend.

A bit pricey. A local bar in D Port.Great beer selection, and overpriced but succulent burgers. Happy hour wings were smoked on site and bbq sauce was just right , sweet and spicy. Open off season which helps.

Rock in Roll townie bar goes upscale. It's not a good or bad situation, just a matter of preference and $$$$.

This is a nice place to go in the Cape. Casual restaurant but not a dive. Food was good and they also have entertainment. Hard to find in this part of the cape in the fall. I had the chili and it was delicious.

Great place with awesome staff! They took care of us. Tried something new, not my favorite... most likely would have loved other options (friends around me did!)

Had dinner with my adult sons and nephews and we enjoyed the Anchor tots for an app and we all enjoyed the drink selection. The smell of bbq was an added bonus in addition to the great food and service.

We went to dinner here on Friday 8.18.23 at about 7pm for our daughter's 27th Birthday. There were 5 of us in total. We were seated, right away, at a high top table- which was great. Our server was excellent. We ordered some drinks which came right away. My husband ordered a burger, I ordered the brisket sandwich. My daughter and her girlfriend ordered a pasta dish and buffalo chicken. Our son got chicken tenders. My husband, son and my dishes came out first. The server went to get the girls dishes. During that time my husband cut his burger in half. It was absolutely raw. He ordered medium. When the server returned with the other meals he looked at the burger and said "did you order it mooing?". We laughed and he took it back to the kitchen. All perfectly fine. When he returned with a new burger that was not raw, a manager was with him. The server was gracious and kind, apologizing for the error and said he is taking the burger off the check. The manager then stepped forward, and in a VERY rude tone asked my husband to cut his burger, and said "I want to make sure you aren't going to send it back again".It comes off ok when I write it out, but believe me when I say... it was said in a rude and condescending tone.My husband kept his cool, even though I know he wanted to tell that manager to shove the burger where the sun doesn't shine. It was our daughters dinner and we did not want to make an issue. They did take the burger off the bill, which we appreciated the SERVER very much. The 2nd burger was just OK. The kids ate their meals, which they reported as "pretty good". My brisket was pretty bland, but saved by the horseradish sauce which was delicious. We won't go back. Even if the food was amazing, we didn't like the feeling of being talked to like that from anyone, never mind management.I'd like to stress again, it sounds in writing like the manager was just making sure my husband was happy with the newly cooked burger... which would have been appreciated. He was RUDE. He was visually annoyed and had a wicked tone. We were embarrassed, like he was implying we got the 1st burger and some how reversed the cooking process to make it raw and complain. Funny, it was our SERVER who said first that our burger was still Mooing!!!!Anyways, I know less than great reviewers get torn apart so I have thought over a week about if I would review. I decided I'd rather give an honest review about an ok meal with a great server and a terrible manager, than not say a thing.

Waitress lied to me when I asked to substitute coleslaw for another side, don’t know what the point of that was. Said it was a tiny garnish and that I could pay for another side and I got a full size dish of coleslaw??? Is it that much extra effort to bring out a different side dish?

Sat at the bar on a sunday night. Less than half full. Waited about 10 minutes until a bartender came over to take drink order. Had a glass wine and taste pour for a beer. Bartender never came back over so we could order the full beer. Finally flagged her down another 15 mins later to order and waited 30 minutes for a draft beer, when the people who ordered next to us about 15 mins after us, got their beers right away and before we did. Had to flag her down and remind her again. Ordered food, had to ask a random server for utensils. Food was prompt. Good live music. Left frustrated and completely disregarded. Would not recommend.

Went here with my family for lunch because of the amount of gluten free options on the menu. I have celiac and being able to order things like clam chowder and fish and chips is a fun treat, especially while on vacation on the Cape. However, Cleat & Anchor is NOT the place to go. Over priced for starters. I ordered the clam chowder and it was the most disgusting chowder I’ve ever had. Zero flavor and sooooo thick. I had to add tons of salt to make it edible. I also got the fish sandwich and opted to not have the GF bun. My plate was one little piece of fish and the rest a ridiculous amount of tater tot’s. The rest of my family ordered a chicken sandwich, fish sandwich, chicken tenders, and the BLT which made my dad feel sick all afternoon. All came with a ridiculous portion of tater tot’s. Next time I want gluten free chowder or fried seafood I’ll stick with Macs in Chatham. We drove from Brewster to go here and it was terrible.

Dan was our bartender, he was attentive and helpful. Food was good and somewhat creative which is a nice change from the typical Cake Cod bar food.
