Called for a vehicle inspection to purchase a car and tried to ask some questions about their services and the man hung up the phone on me. Terrible customer service!!!

Did work without asking. I heard a problem in my brakes and since I had gotten a quote the day before at Grykos, I called to see if he could fit me in. He said he could and was willing to work late. Being new to the area I was excited to find a good mechanic. I told him that I’d recently had an oil change but they didn’t reset the computer so ignore the change oil light on the dash, and that I knew I needed plate lights but I was going to change them this weekend.
He tried to tell me they were hard to change and I told him I’d be fine.
Hours go by and I finally call him to see when I can pick up my car. He tells me he did an oil change, rotated the tires, changed the plate lights, and changed the back brakes, rotors, and a caliper.
I wasn’t surprised that I needed a caliper but a phone call with cost is usually standard before doing the work. Doing unnecessary work without asking isn’t ok. We finally settled on that I would pay for the oil and filter (that I didn’t need) but he wouldn’t charge me labor, and that he wouldn’t charge for the tire rotation. He fave me a price of $400. An hour later he says my car is done and it’s $452.
Then proceeds to give me a lecture about when to get an oil change and how my car works.
Definitely walked away with that old feeling of you need to take a man with you to a garage if you want to be treated with respect.

I went for a car inspection; everything went textbook perfect. The technician was very friendly and fast! The location is hard to see from the road. We missed it the first time, but it's worth finding. You might look for a ton of school buses that were there.

Very rude. He scrawled my phone number down wrong on a pad of paper. Not my fault that he wrote it down wrong. Told me to go somewhere else because he couldn't call me after I called him to follow up.Was initially very nice I would say when I first went in, but blaming me for not being able to call me is not my fault but his.I know they have plenty of business so a car mirror is not a big job, but very upset with how I was wrote off and told to go somewhere else when I was very polite to him.Service: Auto maintenance

I went for an inspection back in May and I still feel grateful I went there because I have high anxiety with bringing my van into new places but they were just, good vibes. Very quiet, not a lot of people around, and very friendly.

Super honest, friendly, and helpful. I went in today for an inspection, didn't have to wait at all, they were quick and thorough, and even helped recommend a product to keep my hood latch from seizing.
