“I was really happy with the selection of cat food/products, including for senior cats, which can be hard to find. My cat tried new kind of food "Tiki Cat Silver" that he really liked! Unfortunately, the store didn't have a particular dog treat brand I had been looking for (a smoked chicken jerky stick), but the staff person I asked showed me something sort-of comparable and said if our dogs didn't like them, just to bring them back with the receipt for a refund. Very nice policy though I didn't test it; our dogs liked the treats but they were just a little hard on their teeth.”

“Let me start by saying this is a five star review unless you have a fish. Hello, welcome to my review of the Popped Pouch. You will think this should be a one star review if you only had a fish, but you will not think it is a one star EXPERIENCE. It's a four Star experience plus one star if you have a cat or dog. This brings it to the fifth star. The P*** Porch has everything you'd dream of if you have dogful/catful fishless inside living. It's small but packed with canine and feline marineless necessities. Cool treats and quirky fun toys for pets as long as they are cats or dogs. They have one employee and sometimes that employee changes but the previous one comes back the next day and the newer one leaves until the first one is done with Jury Duty or whatever. They don't sell any fish food, or it might be in the back or something, just ask the employee if it's the first guy, he might say "no" though. I'm sure he says it in a nice way with a little animal pun joke.”

The store managers are always so kind and helpful and willing to order supplies that they may not carry in store. We ordered a fantastic dog bed (that our cat can't get enough of either) and leashes and pop in every few weeks for treats and other regular supplies. Highly recommend as a local pet supply store!”

“Awesome little shop. Staff is super kind and friendly. They always have nice brands and great foods. Nobody nearby sells Open Farm so it's nice to have a local spot. A bit small inside so if it's busy be prepared to wait/squeeze by but overall it's an awesome little shop. Found out about them through their Portland Maine shop and will be back many times to come.”

“I can not say enough good things about Paws in Play!! I've been taking my pup here for 7 years now and she absolutely loves it. Whether it's for a day of daycare or boarding, I know that she is well taken care of. Jess and Dave do a great job running this place and keeping things safe for all the dogs that walk through their door. They love each dog like they were their own!! The facebook page and snapchat accounts post pictures and videos of all the dogs having a great time whether its inside or out in the yards. I could not ask for a better place or better people to leave my little girl with while i'm at work or away.”

We kept the “grinch” toes and both Sherlock and we were happy about it!Also they have a great supply of dog treats (and catnip toys that I supply to my in-law’s cat out in Bolton).”

“We brought our new pup Millie into Chickadee Seed and Feed after her vet appointment at Holmes and we met Missy, the owner. Millie had such a great time. She got lots of hugs and kisses and Missy gave her a bully stick (her very first) and she loved it! They are so friendly and welcoming there. They have a table set up with baked goods and apple cider which we took full advantage of. The store is so clean and well organized and Missy was patient and so knowledgeable when asked a ton of questions by us with regards to our new pup. “This is truthfully, my favorite store in the entire world. I lived in L.A. for many years and when I moved to Marshfield, I struggled to find a place to buy a new little bird buddy (I settled on a Quaker parrot, per Joey's recommendation -best recommendation ever!). The folks who work here are so in tune and knowledgable about birds -it's worth the hour drive! I buy all my toys and parrot food here for my birds. All of the employees are kind, willing to help, and always give clear answers. I am neurotic about my three little birds, and (more than once!) Joey has helped ease my concerns with super helpful advice and answers. Amazing business. Nothing out there like this place!”

“The last two years I have gotten my dog's birthday cake from here! I have had it shipped both times and both times the cakes came well packaged and still perfectly put together! They are absolutely adorable. Their cakes are chicken free, which is great since my dog has an allergy. I love how you can specify a theme and color you want. My dog absolutely loves the cake and literally pulled it out of my hands last night to eat it! When reaching out to the company on instagram with questions and customizations, they are so friendly and helpful! They even reached out to clarify that the hot dog toppers had chicken and asked what I would like instead. My friends have now also gotten cakes here and their dogs loved their cakes as well. I highly recommend!!”
