Inaccurate tax advice and incompetent staff.After H&R Block's tax pro prepared my taxes for 2021, I was referred to this Block Advisors to amend an inaccurate reporting of my income. I was first told that this issue was accurately reported. After sending multiple tax forms showing otherwise, the proclaimed "manager" of the office, Ellen Neloms, then told me that she couldn't download my tax return (that H&R prepared) and hung up on me. After calling back and asking further clarifying questions, I was hung up on again.2 days later, I was able to work with another H&R Block office that was able to understand and amend my original tax return in under 20 minutes.Avoid Ellen and this office at all costs.

Lady messed up on my bank account info when I handed her a paper with the exactly account numbers. Now I have to wait months for my refund.

The entire process felt rushed. They barely were available to help me. Will not file here again. Don’t recommend it. And so expensive!!!!

Christina and the rest of the staff were so nice and accommodating (especially since I came in to get my taxes done on the last day before the deadline AND during a historical pandemic). You could tell they were INUNDATED with work, but they went above and beyond regardless. Thank you so much Christina!

I can't enough GREAT things about this location and it's staff. First off shout out to THERESA MCLAUGHLIN. I had 3 years worth of messed up taxes and owing money back. I was hesitant to file this year because I was nervous of the result. A rock in my tummy. Theresa made this experience AMAZING and kept re assuring me that yes, there was a mistake made a few years ago but that was in the past and she will help clear my name up- and she did. She eased my nerves and was so knowledgeable on everything. And thank you front desk TRINA for making my experience welcoming and friendly. You all rock!!

Been using HR block or block advisors for years and never had to pay more than 100$ for filling fee. This time the Rep charged over 440$+. I wish they let their clients know in the beginning that they will be charging over 200$ per hour. I spoke to many of my friends, some with way more complicated returns than i had, no one was presented at any other HR Block with such a ridiculous bill. Total rip off place, learn from other people experiences, save yourself. Never going back to this place.

If I could give a negative rating I would. I had an appointment scheduled and after about 10-15 min after the appointment time I went up to the front desk to ask how much longer it would take to be seen. The tax consultant came out and said that it would be another 10-15 min before she could see me. This makes it approximately 20-25 min past my appointment time. The only response was that "it is Saturday and we are busy". I understand that it is busy, but that is why an appointment was scheduled. That was a very unprofessional and crude remark as if she was saying you either wait or leave and your time is not valuable to us. I ended up leaving and taking my money to another place that actually respected my time as well as theirs. I don't recommend going to this place and I won't step foot again in that establishment. To top it all of I got a call from an H&R representative stating that she would call the office and speak with the tax consultant to make sure it doesn't happen again. I don't need a call informing me that is going to happen as it is to late and it doesn't help me in any other way. I would have preferred getting no call at all.
