2024 update - A couple of years ago, they ditched the live operator that answers the telephone. A sign of times, I guess. It is still fairly easy to get to a human, though it appears to be a call center now rather than someone in the customer service area in one of the branches - so service is a little more impersonal. That being said, the people at the call center still appear able to help with the things you'd expect. Still live pretty far away, but the mobile app has been improved several times and easy accomplishes things like depositing checks. Online bill payment is half-way decent to navigate, and you can even set it up to automatically make regular payments like your mortgage bill. I recently sent a comment about the online banking and the manager of the department contacted me personally. I even spoke to her directly by phone. Try that with a mega-huge bank.

Literally the worse. Contact center is horrible and I can hear the manager talking negatively about customers in the background. I spoke to Melissa and she had me hold for the longest. She was suppose to be an assistant manager but kept putting me on hold for the easiest questions. I don’t have an account and would never open an account there.

I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Deleila over the phone. She assisted me with banking questions I had. Deleila went above and beyond and was very professional. I would highly recommend Dedham Savings and if you ever need to call in ask for Deleila she was amazing.

I received 2 calls from this company bank with two different #'s. The message that this woman named Barbara left is that I got approval for an advantage program. I don't know what that means.This is a scam. I don't even live in Massachusetts area.

Dedham savings overall a great bank…but with rising interest rates if they don’t act soon and fast they will lose thousands, if not millions on customer deposits. Their savings interest rates are STILL 0.05% which is one of the lowest offered around. They only have 1 saving account with 4% interest but that’s only up to the first $1k so that’s stupid and low. SoFi offers 3.5%, PNC bank offers 4%, I could go on. Raise your rates to offer more competitive rates guys.

Switched all my accounts over to Dedham about a year ago. Since that time I've had nothing but issues with the customer service. First they wouldn't cash one of my checks that they insisted was written in pencil that wasn't. Second they wouldn't cash a check that was 10 days over a supposed 60 day law which upon investigating isn't a law it's at the discretion of the bank. In other words the customer service has gone way downhill and I will probably take my money out and Bank elsewhere. They don't seem to care either way.

Head teller has a huge attitude problem. Old manager was friendly nice and kind. This one looks for problems so she cannot service you. First told me that the check I tried to cash was written in pencil even though it wasn't. Then she wouldn't cash a check for me that was Bank issued but 70 days old. Nowhere on the check that it say it couldn't be cashed. It was at the discretion of Dedham savings. Okay. I will be using my discretion and pull my money out of the bank. It's been real.

I have been a customer of Dedham Savings for quite a while now and have NEVER had a bad experience. The tellers are always pleasant and efficient, and when an issue arises where I have to speak with an officer, they are unfailingly friendly and helpful and have never made me feel as though I was causing a problem or taking up their time unreasonably. They are always willing to take as long as necessary to answer my questions or help resolve my issues. Although Dedham Savings is a local bank, their accounts and services are at least equal to, if not better, than any of the larger banks in the area, so I am always happy to depend on Dedham Savings for all my banking and financial needs.

For a somewhat small town bank, Dedham Savings does indeed seem to offer every banking perk one could require. The staff is polite and helpful almost to a fault. Problems are solved with speed and professionalism.
