Terrible customer service! I had a complaint and the woman working there started yelling at me. They gave us the wrong size car and did not want to change the car. Worst customer service I have ever had.

Spent an eternity here trying to get a small car. The chip reader was down and after playing with the wires I asked them if they could ask another office to process my payment, which they did. Got to the car and it was dirty, needed vacuuming and a good wash. There were bird feces on the side view mirrors. But this location doesn’t have a washing machine. Not a good start to my long trip!

I had to try to return the car 3 times. There is no key drop off. They close sundays at 2. I was there at 1:45. I was in the phone for 45 minutes, talked to 6 people and then got a resolution to drop off a different day with an extension to drop off. At drop off the man had the gall to call me a liar and make feel like a piece of crap. Will do enterprise nearby in Dedham going forward Enterprise Rent-A-Car (781) 326-5557

If I could go even lower for a score I would. (-10) I went to the Budget at this location.... Let me just say this...Before you rent from them, go to Walmart and get yourself a scooter. You will be better off with that. I picked up the car on a Tuesday for an out of state travel. (this was on the contract so they knew it was not local) We get the car and the outside it FILTHY. We asked, you do not clean the cars anymore? the young man said it was only him. Which means what? As he is walking away we call him back because the TAIL LIGHT is BUSTED. We ask for another car and he states there are no more. Anyone who drives out of Massachusetts knows, that it is a BAD idea to be driving through Connecticut and NY with a busted light, especially at night. You are most definitely going to get pulled over. So, as we pulled off and start driving, we smell this awful smell. Once we pulled over and looked in the back, we see VOMIT all in the back seat on the floor and on the door. (WTH) So, we had no choice but to clean it up, we were already on the road and they had no more cars. I tried calling them many times but I only got the folks from the Philippines who have no clue on what I am talking about. So let's just say BUDGET gave me a FREE car. There is no way I would ever go back to them. Staff said there is no more cars, so when the other folks come in later to get their car, there will not be any. Food for thought... If you know there are no more cars available, why wouldn't you call them and let them know so they won't take that trip to you or better yet, they can call another company to see if they can rent from them. Straight CLUSLESS If you really need a car and you have to go to them, DON'T, get a scooter you will have less headaches..

This location openly flouts Budget's terms and conditions. I had a noon pre-paid reservation. The location calls me at 1. He says that he will give away the car and may refuse a refund if I do not pick the car up right away. The Budget terms and conditions indicate that you can pick up the car any time on the day of the reservation before the location closes. This location simply does not care and indicates they will disregard Budget's terms and conditions. Imagine if you had a flight that runs late? Even if you have a pre-paid rental, this location's policy is that if you run late, they can give away your car to another paying customer and refuse a refund, essentially having two separate renters pay for the same car.

Don't go here, especially if you value your safety during COVID-19. I went here to avoid the airport rental car pickup during the pandemic, and it was a mistake. To start, I had to find the location with very poor, hand-written signage, as it is located inside of a Holiday Inn. When I went to the rental counter, the woman (who had no other customers) did not look up at me, as she was in the middle of a task. She continued to go that task for another solid 5 minutes before she looked up or acknowledged me, knowing full well that I was there. When I was finally acknowledged, she asked for all of my information, not asking if I was a Fast Break member, which I was. The entire reason that I had signed up for Fast Break was so I could facilitate the rental process and be inside as less as possible during the pandemic. She said she couldn't find my Fast Break information and we had to go through the whole rental process. When I got to the vehicle, I was horrified by the condition of it. I see all of these commercials and website messaging touting how rental car companies are doing everything they can to maintain cleanliness during this time and going the extra mile to clean vehicles. That couldn't have been further from the truth in this case. As you can see in the photos, there was bird feces, dead bugs, a scratch and marker on the exterior of the vehicle and caked on food, smudges, hair, and dried liquid spillage on the inside of the vehicle. I had to sit in the parking lot and clean the car for 30min because I did not feel safe driving it off of the lot during this pandemic. It was completely obvious that this car had not been cleaned at all in between users. All in all, a really bad experience. Will never use Budget again.

I got a week rental prepaid it and I was charged three times, when I called their customer service I was told to send screenshots of the excessive billing and someone would get back to me in 4 hours no one called it took 3 days to get an email apologizing for their error and telling me A refund can take up to 7 business days and they are refunded the wrong card so now I’m stuck with over limit fees. DO NOT rent from these people they lie and overcharge for a vehicle that needed service an oil change oh and didn’t even have windshield wiper fluid. Horrible rent Hertz or Enterprise even Rent a Wreck is better

We needed to rent a 12-passenger van for an event, and a member of our group reserved it at Budget Dedham months in advance. Two weeks before the rental, she called Budget, and she was assured they would have the van we reserved. Four days before the rental, she called Budget again, and she was again assured they would have the van we reserved. Two days before the rental, Budget called her and confirmed they would have the van we reserved. Then, the morning of the rental, they called and said they didn't have the vehicle after all and asked if we could use a minivan instead. Thankfully we were able to find a rental from a different company at the last minute. I will try to avoid renting from Budget in the future, and I will definitely never rent from this location. You have been warned.

Picking up the vehicle was a pleasant experience. The gentleman was professional & courteous. The following day as driving 1 tire was losing air. I went to a gas station & called Budget service & checked to see spare which was full size. Sadly it took 3 hrs for to get someone there. I don't feel was the fault of Budget. While parked the screen showed as 1 tire went to 0 stating, inflate to 32 psi....the other tires were inflated to 40, 39 & 41. All improperly inflated. When returning car days later there was nobody at counter or outside. After 30 minutes passed and another customer came to return, I called main Budget number and as I was explaining for the 3rd time, my reason for calling...a person showed up. It had been 45 mins. Which she said was NOT but 11:50 - 12:35 is 45 mins. Then she said she had to go to another location. I'm sorry that she has that job but she should've left a note or sign...Something.

Use this location often... maybe not anymore. Reserved a car, arrived and had to be upgraded to a Small SUV. Yeah, better car, but also more gas and fees to extend the rental. Anyway, no one was there to receive the vehicle when I returned. I left the keys at the Hilton desk per order of Budget Rep. I get a bill days later with extra days added on. Now, Budget wants me to “Prove†I dropped the vehicle off at the proper time... Only if I had read the reviews on this location... There is a first time for everything, and this would be mine for Bad Customer Service here..... I think the best way to handle this is ask for the recording of my phone call with “Information Act†Rights so they can hear their own Rep misRepresenting the Company.
