They withheld my mail for a month without notifying me or my husband. The excuse was that our mailbox was not accessible. How can our mailbox not be accessible when the mail was being delivered just fine to the owners prior just days before and we hadn’t changed anything? There’s no growth over it or around it, nothing obstructing our literal street side mailbox. The only way I found out about my mail is that i was expecting a package and the status on the package stated being held at USPS by recipient request. Weird, because I never gave them permission to hold my mail in the first place. We had important time sensitive documents in our mail that they withheld for weeks. Nobody could’ve given us a notification? We just moved to the area and kept driving to our old home to check for the mail and obviously find nothing. The manager was not helpful to my husband and just didn’t seem to care at all.

Might as well get rid of humans and make this place a self service location since you have to do everything yourself anyways.

They won’t bring your package to the door they just leave a notice at the mailbox. Your soposed to come to the door and ask for a signature unbelievable

This location needs to seriously be looked into. On two separate occasions this summer I dropped off letters to their outdoor mailbox. All five letters went missing. I have had to pay close to $200 already to cancel checks. Lost mail reported online but it has been months and I never even received an update. Phone number is completely useless, never get to speak to a real person. Go elsewhere.

Don't waste your time calling the 1-800 number. It is as bad as service you get at this Post Office. Little to None...

I'm surprised by the bad reviews. I've lived here for 12 years and always gotten good and friendly service.

Useless automated support... Can't even call your LOCAL postal office when you've waited at home ALLL DAY for a $300 parcel.... And they text with some NONSENSE about UNSECURE are, notice left.... Uhhh, I'VE BEEN HOME WAITING. Then try to call and you can't even get a real person in YOUR local office. We all know how much everyone LOVES useless automated call lines!!!!

My father has stage 4 cancer and has been eagerly awaiting a wedge pillow from Walmart. My mother recieved the pillow in poor condition. The post man rolled the pillow and taped it leaving it flat and unable to use shoving it in the mailbox. The package should have been put on the porch.. Slocum rd post man or woman, you are lazy and don't respect anyone's mail.

Manager was insanely rude, he was blaming me for something that was his fault and did it with a very unprofessional attitude.

After my horrendous experience at the New Bedford USPS--which left me vowing never to step foot in that branch again (which I've held to this day)--I started going (almost exclusively) to this Faunce Corner location. I actually went there to mail the catalogue that the NB branch refused to mail. That was years ago, but I do remember that the woman I interacted with was very kind, and I remember not just *thinking* there was a huge difference in attitude and service, but also *feeling* there was. I did get that package mailed, and it did cost more than the quote, but being met with an apologetic, empathetic, and understanding representative MADE A MEANINGFUL DIFFERENCE!Over the years, I've had nothing but good experiences at this location. I've always found the tellers to be friendly and professional. I also like that, because of the footprint/layout of this branch, it feels less claustrophobic when there is a line (vs. NB branch). When I'm in the area, this is my branch of choice and would recommend it without reservation!!

Client mailed a check from Waltham by CertifiedMail. Tracking said the carrier “delivered to an individual at the address” but there is no name written anywhere...Then the manager after checking with the carrier said that bc of “Covid” it doesn’t need to be delivered to a person and that the carrier “said” he “probably” put it in the mail box... what is then the point of paying for certified mail???Oh... it is all bc of Covid... how is it that no one can be hold responsible? What type of service is that? Completely lost the trust I had on USPS.

Awful. I was home and they said they attempted to deliver the package. No such thing. Just be honest and say you don't want to do your job. If I have to go pick up my packages What do I need you for. I don’t need you at All.If this was a real company you would be fired for not performing your job. Stop acting like your entitled. If you dont like your job leave. Give it to someone else that is willing to work harder than you at it.
