Not only do they have only 1 or 2 cashiers so that leaves you not much of a choice but to use self check out, they are now going to charge for bags. This is absurd, do you not save enough of your profits by not having to pay employees? I don't believe I receive a paycheck for cashing myself out, along with the embarrassment of having the light start blinking thinking I stole something..now I'm going to get charged 10cents per bag?? Market Basket is looking better by the second..not only do they have every register open with someone ringing your order but they also have a bagger for every register. They have way better selection of groceries and the prices are good. I refuse to pay for bags.

they never have enough registers open with real people. they just want to push people into checking their own food out. System doesn't work well. I and my family have spent THOUSANDS in the North Dartmouth branch but I am frankly sick of spending money and being treated poorly. Management clearly has no idea what a bad experience their store has become. moving my prescriptions and my food purchases elsewher.

Had to change my review from 5 stars to zero.Went to gas station multiple times including today girl will not except my cash! There is something wrong with her. Maybe she is afraid to take cash Covid ? Management should get rid of her. Some of us only have cash !! Poor readiness for long time stop shop customers so sad . Went to new bedford s & s funny they had no problem taking my money !! Shame shame dartmouth!!

I shop here all the time . Lately (since Christmas) you have been running out of Jiffy Pie Crust—or it’s so far back I can’t reach it. Today in the baking aisle , again no Jiffy Pie Crust. Which is the best by the way . Anyway , almost finished with shopping, in the last aisle where the frozen breakfast stuff is , there’s a shelf on the front of the freezer door WITH JIFFY PIE CRUST in it !!!!! Whose bright idea was to put it there ?? Really

I don’t get paid to work at this dump of a store. They don’t wanna pay a fair wage to employees. A few years ago they went on strike for what less workers and more self checkout. May your company go bankrupt. I will never shop in this filthy rat trap ever again nor any stop and shop.

I was out Sunday enjoying family time and some shopping. All was going great until I needed gas. I was stupid enough to think stopping at Stop and Shop Gas station in North Dartmouth was a good idea. I swiped my card to pay for gas and they wanted to put a hold on my ENTIRE account!! I immediately said NO and CANCELED the transaction!! Come to find out they STILL put the hold on. My account was wiped out, the morons at the store were less then helpful, they won't release the

My account was wiped out, the morons at the store were less then helpful, they won't release the hold on a NONEXISTENT transaction, and then I found out yesterday this all caused my account to be in the negative by almost $40 ??? After counting freaking PENNIES, I brought it back into the positive, but that is BEYOND the point!!! This is not the 1st time Stop and Shop has done this but this IS the only place I've EVER had this problem!!! I will be shopping elsewhere from now on unless I'm desperate and I will be encouraging ALL my friends and family to do the same!!! This company is a disgusting disgrace ???

I don't know what is happening at this store. It used to be a pleasure to shop here but not anymore! Their customer service has gone down hill in a huge way! Also many spots on shelves are empty and its not because they can't get these items, because other stop and shop stores have the product. Seriously thinking of shopping elsewhere!! Not worth the aggravation!

This is a fantastic service! The Stop and Shop on Faunce Corner Road really has it together. My power went out at 3pm and did not come on until the next morning. I was scheduled to pick up at 4pm They were accommodating and allowed pick up the next day!The service was friendly and appreciated!

At 7:30 on a Sunday night when they close at 9 most to the store was already closed forced me to shop else where! If you close at 9 all departments close at 9! Customer service zero help! Ken you better figure this out because now I won’t bother shopping there I’ll go to Shaw’s or market basket further from my home!

Quick, easy, and open late. Just not as cheap as other stations... Competitive, but Bjs IS 13¢ less per gallon right now. It's actually 2.92 here, but 2.80 over there. Except, Bjs isn't open as late. This is always my second stop for gas, after Bjs. But, it's also cheaper here if u get points by shopping inside.
