Worse service dept ever. Took my newly bought corvette to them for a full inspection. They discovered issues with the harmonic balancer and power steering. Easy 1 or 2 day fix, right???? Wrong, not with Colonial!!! 2 weeks later and a tremendous lack of communication…..not knowing why it’s taking so long to get my car back. The day I was supposed to get my car back, I was told it’s not ready and I’ll get a call on Monday. I guess telling me at that moment was too much for them. So the following Monday I was told they found an issue with the rear leaf spring. The car isn’t safe to drive and it needs to be replaced. But wait……. Why wasn’t this discovered in the full inspection and just being found on the day I was picking my car up???? Things that make you go, hmmm…. They even sent me a fancy little video when my car was up on the lift showing me everything and them stating everything was good. No issues besides the harmonic balancer and leak in power steering. From the day my car was up on a lift getting a full inspection to now, it never left their possession. So how did it break? Did they break my leaf spring and not taking ownership? Are they lying about it being bad to scam more money from the warranty company? Something seems off. So here we are now, they are holding my car for another 3 weeks because they can’t find the part. Evidently parts for a Chevy corvette is very difficult for a Chevy dealership to get. Finally got my car back. They don’t adjust my rear lowing bolts. They had it jacked down all the way so the front was riding higher than the rear. So naturally the bushings on the bolts got destroyed and I had to go to another shop to get it fixed. Which was a lot less painful and only took a day. Colonial seemed like a very sketchy service dept to me.
