Place has seriously gone downhill in the last 6 months, selling broken electronics at retail prices, and selling empty game cases at 7.99 a piece! Their greed will be their downfall!

I used to love shopping in this place, until last night . First of all let me start by saying, I hate the self check out counters. Any who, I like to go shopping on Tuesdays because we get our senior's discount. I'm spending over $140.00, so I called one of the employees over to put in my discount. I was purchasing 2 of their paper bags for my things, since they no longer provide bags. I told her to add bags to the total, so I could pay. So she's getting ready to walk away, and looks at me like I'm stealing something, and says you didn't pay for the bags, ? Which I had asked her to add. She walked away angry. Stood on the side giving my daughter and I a dirty look. My daughter got upset and told her a few things. The employee said, she was a manager, and we didn't have to go back there to shop, which is very unprofessional. Things got a little heated between her and my daughter, another manager, I'm assuming, walks over and told my daughter there was no need for foul language and there was no oppoligy from either one of them managers. Umonst all the arguing, I walked out and forgot to grab my lamp, I had already paid for. It wasn't until I got home, I remembered the lamp. They were already closed, so I had to wait until the next morning to call. My daughter called the store and explained to the person whom picked up the phone, we had left our lamp behind and wanted them to put it aside so I could go pick it up after work. Could you believe, we were told the manager whom we had the argument with, threw the lamp away, so I could not pick it up. Unbelievable, this is what it's come to. She was a very young girl, definitely not manager material if you ask me. With managers like her, they will surely loose a lot of shoppers. AS FOR MYSELF, I WILL NO LONGER SHOP IN THE DANVERS STORE. I 'd rather drive all the way to Saugus. So very sad and disappointing.

Disgusting the state of these stores, why is a blank used gildan tee marked up 300% the cost of a brand new one? I used to come to these places for a more eco friendly option but the prices have become absolutely predatory and it gets worse every time I go.

Manager is downright delusional with pricing, and employees are not allowed to discount any items. Meanwhile, half their items sit for months unsold, and then get thrown away. The Saugus store discounted items for me without me even ASKING. Danvers store has items priced over full retail price. Absolutely insane. Do not go here.

I am utterly shocked by the prices in this place. I’ve been to most Savers in the Boston metro area, and I have never seen anything like this. It’s absolutely disgusting that they are a FOR PROFIT “thrift” store, charging prices that are likely higher than what the products originally cost. How are people with less money supposed to afford these things? I would give it zero stars if I could. Shame on you, Davers Savers!!!

Shame on me, bought a bunch of cd’s, and some cases were empty. Shame on them for not checking before they hit the floor.

Best store on the North shore Danvers has the best quality of items the prices are within reasonable range the people are very friendly the manager is very fair positive and polite there is a self-checkout but there is always somebody there to help you if something is not price they will work with you on a decent price if something is stained they will work with you on a decent price savers started very small and was kind of like a walk-in salvation army 10 years later it is expanded and has almost everything you could possibly think of from household items to outdoor items toys furniture clothing shoes pretty much anything household

This savers used to be ok. Now they price their stuff like it's some boutique vintage store. It's a rip off. If you're looking for a deal, don't go here. Also they are FOR profit but try very hard in their marketing to look otherwise. Don't donate money to them - they just claim it as a tax deductible donation. It's annoying because it's one of the few places around like it but I just had to stop giving them business.
