Dr. Nathonson himself is the best in class. He is attentive, knowledgeable, and very pleasant. He is also always on time and I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes. You will leave his office happy and pleased.Unfortunately, I have to agree with other reviewers about the receptionist. And that’s why I took a star off. She is an older lady with little patience, and even less phone etiquette. She has clearly been working there for a very long time - long enough to have solid job security to where she knows she can get away with her rude phone manner. You’ll have to deal with her blatant rudeness to get to the delightful doctor. So if it’s a price you’re willing to pay, you’ll love Dr. Nathonson.It’s tragic that a staff member can be allowed to behave so poorly, tainting the good doctor’s name.

Dr. Nathanson's office takes steps to dissuade patients from taking their prescriptions and ordering glasses online. They do not provide the pupillary distance and their office refuses to fax a copy of your prescription anywhere.

Rudest receptionist I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Considering how over-priced the doctor's visit and contacts were, I expected at least a phone call when my contacts came in. I had to call them, only to have the receptionist hang up on me. Not in anger - she was just done with the conversation. Would not recommend to anyone.

My family have been going to Dr. Nathanson for years, and we find that he he taken excellent care of us. One receptionist is on the ball and very helpful and professional, while the other one is even rude on the phone and sometimes in person.

This receptionist is unbelievable.I have never in my many years as a care broker been amazed how this lady is ruining the wonderful experience we get from the Doctor himself.She is so rude that she even yells at you on the phone. The doctor on the other hand is a very knowledgeable and very compassionate person. I think she is family and had never had any other job besides that.

Defiantly the worst experience ever receptionist was EXTREMELY rude! Then they double charge me for my eye exam I have had contacts for many years have been to multiple different doctors and never have been charged some extra fee for my one exam saying they gave me two exams at once I don't know but when I called around to five other eye doctors they have heard of no such fee. And of course to top it all off they refused to give my prescription to 1-800-contacts as well as myself saying I had to go all the way to there office or wait for my prescription in the mail saying that there is some law that prohibits myself to access my own eye prescription.... When I called the my usual doctors office they said that is absolutely not true that there is NO LAW that prohibits me from accessing my OWN prescription!
