My daughter was looking for a car and found one on their website. She called set up an appointment for Monday at 3:30pm. I called around 11 o’clock to confirm the Appointment. Got out of work early and drove 45 minutes to get there, and when we got there, we were informed that the car wasn’t there yet. It wouldn’t be showing up for 2 to 3 more days.

DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM HERE. Try Subaru Wakefield if you really want a Subaru.
DO NOT GET SERVICE FROM HERE. You'd get fewer dents in your car from a revolving door. Support your community and go to a real, honest, local mechanic.
TLDR: Sold me a car with a serious safety defect. Lied to me about the cause and tried to avoid the necessary repair. While my car was in the shop they hit it, broke my front bumper and lost my license plate - and lied about it. Took 3 weeks to get my car back afterjust purchasing it.
Go to a real mechanic that actually knows what they are doing. I purchased a 2018 Crosstrek from this place, and they forgot to install all the bolts on one of my rear brake calipers (there are only 2 bolts...). This caused my caliper to dislodge and damage my wheel, luckily I was not on the highway or this could have caused me to swerve into a different lane from uneven braking.
After I pointed out this issue, their mechanic lied to me and tried to tell me the bolt sheared off. When I questioned him further on how a brake bolt could have possibly sheared off, he hung up on me. Take a look at the attached picture, I don't see a bolt on there, let alone a sheared one. On top of that, he just put a bolt in and re-attached the caliper to the damaged brake pad and wheel, good to go!
I had to spend my night on the phone getting hung up on multiple times by their sales & service department but was finally able to get on the phone with their service director Daniel Hutt.
He confirmed the mechanic did not tell me the truth and agreed to replace my rear brake pads and rotors as well as the damaged wheel. "Okay," I thought. Finally something would get done, and a director taking responsibility and telling me the truth.
Fast forward a week of them ordering the wrong wheel, forgetting to order the wheel, and finally just driving to the warehouse to get it. They call me into the shop to give me the car back. I take a look around and the wheel looks good, brake pads and rotors are replaced... but my front license plate is missing.
On top of that, I take a closer look and notice that my bumper is damaged. How did I notice? It was sitting unevenly because -- you guessed it -- they forgot a bolt (rivet). Picture attached.
When I asked where my license plate was Daniel told me I got the car towed like that. I told him I received the vehicle a week ago with 2 license plates and I delivered it with 2 license plates. I had to read my plate number off the front of my car to get it towed to their dealership in the first place.
Then Daniel came up with the convoluted excuse that it was "torn off by the car wash" and they needed 24 hours to get it because the sole person that knows how to turn off the car wash wasn't in. (Definitely not because they dented my plate when they hit my bumper and needed time to hammer out the dents.) He also assured me they did not damage the front bumper, but would replace it for free because they're in the charity business. Definitely not because they broke it.
This was the point when I realized the issue was systemic. The reason the mechanics are liars is because their boss is a liar. And the worst part about all this is that if I was some poor old woman that took these people at their word, they would have gladly scammed me.
It took a week and a half to get my bumper repaired, they made sure to return my car to me with a few fresh dings and chips in my doors, and an empty coolant tank.
I can say without a doubt this was the single worst experience I have ever had with a mechanic or a dealership. They were dishonest, they were sloppy, and if not blatantly malicious, they were just plain incompetent.

Updating my review: If I could give them 10 stars, I would. The service here is above and beyond. I had an issue and Yvonne worked with me every step of the way to make sure the whole thing was minimally disruptive and that I got my car back feeling as good as new. Ira Subaru , especially Yvonne and Destiny, have made me a Subaru lifer!

Very bad experience. I had to come the second time because it was too late to complete work. I was not offered to leave a car and come on the next day. During the second visit it took 2,5 hours while I was told that this work would take approximately 1 hour. The worst thing was completely change all settings including panel lights, panel display, radio. Even child door lock was on. All these seemed to be minor but all took time to set up back. Especially child door lock - it was not good experience when my husband could not get out of car.

I had an outstanding experience at Ira Subaru, where I recently purchased my latest car. Habib, our salesperson, was exceptional—patient, calm, and never pushy. He made the entire process stress-free, even as we juggled the challenges of managing our 4-year-old during the visit.
Maggie in finance was equally impressive. She thoroughly explained our financial options and went above and beyond by helping keep our little one entertained when he started getting restless. Her professionalism and kindness made the paperwork process much smoother.
A week after driving off with our new car, we encountered an issue where it wouldn’t start and displayed error messages. The team at Ira Subaru, especially Alyssa, quickly stepped in to help. After arranging a tow, Alyssa made sure I got home safely by setting up a Lyft ride. The following day, she offered another Lyft to pick up the car once it was ready, though it wasn’t needed. Alyssa took the time to explain the troubleshooting process and evaluation (a drained battery), and even replaced the batteries in our key fobs on the spot when I asked.
Having owned several Subarus from different dealerships over the years, I can confidently say that the service at Ira Subaru has been the best I’ve experienced. I’m already looking forward to making my next Subaru purchase here. Highly recommend Ira Subaru for their exceptional service and customer care!

I have not purchased a car from a dealership in over 20 years and unfortunately, was disappointed at IRA Subaru. The final paperwork was completed last Wednesday 8/7 and I am told today 8/10 I cannot pick up the car until 8/14 or 8/15 for work on a very minor dent that needs to go to the shop. This "dent" was identified on 8/5 when the deposit was placed. I was not informed about transferring plates and insurance now needs to change from 8/12 to later. IRA is a major operation and I am very unhappy that a minor dent is holding up delivery of this car. UPDATE: After posting this review I was able to get the car on 8/12.

I just bought a pre-owned vehicle, my third car purchase in my lifetime. Rich Metellus made it by far the easiest car buying experience. He was kind, responsive when I contacted him with my questions/concerns, and a true advocate for me as a customer. He made financing my car a breeze along with the help of Maggie Paulino, the finance manager. Couldn't recommend working with them more. I'm very grateful for my experience and will certainly be returning for my next purchase.
