“Stayed for a week in 2023. Very comfortable and clean. Great breakfast every morning. Would like to stay in Summer 2024 but it says every week is booked online. Is that correct?”
“My room was very clean. It was quiet. Very spacious. Couldn’t have asked for better. Great location.
They do need a bigger sign to let people know where the front desk is. It’s difficult to find. That doesn’t make them lose a star ? just a recommendation! My stay was perfect!”

219 Newbury St, Danvers“Okay, let’s not judge a book by its cover! The grounds are beautifully kept. The rooms definitely need an overhaul but have all of the standard working amenities. Stayed here for a night due to a wedding at Glen Magna Farms. 8 minutes tops to that venue which is super convenient. The staff is very nice and I learned that they do allow pets! Highly recommend if you’re in a pinch.”

50 Ferncroft Rd, Danvers“Rooms: Rooms are great... standard fare but very clean. Beds are comfortable as are the pillows. The cleaning staff actually cleans the room everyday without having to request it... and they give you fresh towels. How refreshing to see this as other hotels have abandoned this practice blaming Covid and claiming that the practice is good for the environment...malarchy... they just want to save money.
Nearby activities: In about 20 minutes, you can be in Rockport and Gloucester... and not have to pay the almost $400+ dollars per night in those places. This hotel is a treasure as it has big gyms, nail salons and massages... and it's attached to an indoor water park. It's an amazing property. I've already recommended it to many of my friends... and I'm planning another short trip there.
Walkability: The hotel is on a very quiet and isolated area. It's heaven because there's no traffic or traffic noise. The downside to that is that you rely can't walk anywhere... you have to take your car. But the hotel has basically everything you need.
Food & drinks: There are 2 restaurants... one for breakfast and one for dinner. The breakfast buffet is truly awesome... you can pay a higher price (not much) per night for your room and have breakfast included or you can pay $18 per person for your breakfast... you do the math. The wait staff is amazing. They bring you to your table and get you your coffee...then you help yourself to the buffet. The dinner restaurant has a sports bar type of atmosphere and their menu is limited... but what they have is good.”
“I'm sitting in a non smoking room that nonetheless has the faintest ghost of old tobacco smoke. Thats probably from the vintage asthmatic air-conditioning which set on 60 keeps the room at an acceptable temperature (it's nearly 95 outside) .
The linens are clean if a bit worn and I am NOT getting eaten by bedbugs.
The paint in the room is fairly recent as is the faux wood flooring and fittings.
The room is definitely acceptably clean.
Modern isn't a word to use here nor is overstaffed (so please cut the staff a break)
The staff when they aren't running around with their hair on fire seem very friendly and as helpful as possible. (I booked a room with microwave and fridge and didn't get one but the price was the same).
The only thing I hated was the bed...I booked a king suite but it was definitely was a queen and the mattress was wayyyy to soft
There really isn't anything wrong with the place a bit of investment in infrastructure and staff wouldn't fix.
It's pretty quiet at night and seems safe enough, although this is obviously the spot of choice for sneaky trysts of all kinds.
Much cheaper if you book beforehand I paid 78 a night which balloons to 165 night of.
All said I'd definitely stay here again.
Pets are welcome and I saw a lot of happy doggos on my visit...I don't know if pets are extra.
Oh yeah there is a pool here! Its indoors to boot but for some reason it isn't in the Expedia listing or in the motel 6 website!
Rooms: Basic but clean
Nearby activities: Salem Massachusetts
Safety: Seems pretty safe. local PD patrols the lot about every hour
Walkability: Not”
“We stayed here for a week and were quite happy with the room, staff, pool, and free breakfast! We did not have a single issue here and it was a great location for driving around. You can get to an abundance of locations within 20 minutes (Salem, shopping malls, restaurants, etc.). Thank you for such a great experience for our first time in MA!!
Rooms: The rooms were clean and maintained well by cleaning staff each day.
Nearby activities: There are an abundance of activities to do near the hotel. Salem is just a 20 minute drive away which has a lot of shopping, historical homes, museums, etc. We enjoyed the arcade and laser tag around the corner. It was also just a few minutes away from a few beautiful shopping malls and plenty of restaurants.
Safety: Safetywise, there was always someone available at the front desk. It felt pretty safe for the most part, however there is no key access to get into the actual lobby, so anyone can really come in and sit in the lobby which made me a bit fearful at times. However, because the hotel is fairly far to walk from a lot of main areas in MA, it remained safe throughout our stay.
Walkability: I would say that if you are attempting to walk places, youre going to be walking a minimum of 30 mins. To get anywhere aside from homes and trees. We drove everywhere and most places we went were about 5 mins. away by car with the exception of Salem which was only 20 mins. away.
Food & drinks: The free breakfast included was great. It was made fresh each morning and I loved the waffle and pancake machines! They always had plenty to fill us up so that we didnt have to eat out all the time while we were there. They also have snacks available in the lobby to purchase. I loved that guests also have constant access to tea/coffee in the lobby.
Outside of the hotel there are many restaurants located within about 5 minutes of driving (Olive Garden and Torito were our favourites).
Noteworthy details: The firepit at the back of the property was a great addition to our stay, but it was very buggy so I would suggest bringing some bug spray with you. A lot of mosquitoes and beetles that would follow you in either on your clothes or hair since it is a woodsy area.”
