Unhappy tellers! I asked for crisp bills to put in a money gun for kids for Christmas. Nope head teller could not be bothered, gave me wrinkled old bills.Today went to get print out of last 2 Months bank statements for housing app. Teller made such faces at my request I felt uncomfortable. If they do not like their job please leave!

Bad experience...!!!!I applied for a job opportunity in one of branches ofthe Eastern bank then . The branch manager her name Adina , called me yesterday, Thursday, and she said to me, “We have hours to work, Friday , Saturday, and Sunday,Would you like that? I answered yes, and our location is in Danvers, are you familiar with that location? I answered yes, I live in Beverly, 10 minutes from Danvers.Question: When can you come to our officeI answered: I am ready any day during the week and weekend (I'm available). Will you come tomorrow, Friday,?I answered: come to the interview? She said: No, you come to work.I was very happy, pleasantly surprised, this speed I was appointed,I said : yesI went to the bank 5 minutes before the appointment, unfortunately, the reception by the bank manager, Adina, was inappropriate. She did not greet and welcome me and did not introduce herself to me I said , Hi , no answer (, impoliteness).” she said : Come and have a seat in( her ) office, she said to me. I had this Sonia help me but she didn't introduce me to Sonia and Sonia was upset and uncomfortable I didn't understand what was happening and why!!!!She was talking to me( Adina) arrogantly and arrogantly in a way that made me feel that her way and treated me was insulting and contemptuous.she was rude with me.She started talking to me with routine questions, but at the end I started to feel the question was an interrogation and a kind of investigation. She said I wish if you were a graduate with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, why didn’t you work in this field ?? ”.I got my Bachelor's degree in my country, out of USAEven she couldn't even pronounce Bachelor's word . on my resume!, it I don’t understand how she got to this position and read grammar didn't know.Kind of discrimination. She said well I have 2 more candidate for interview, the HR will contact you.I left the office and I heard they were laughing lowdly behind me.Then after half an hour I got email, from HR told me I haven't selected as a candidate? That was in the location 4 Federal Street in Danvers Massachusetts .Don't forget this name (ADINA) branch manager.

This bank is hot dog s**** I would not support a bank with such a toxic track record. Predatory policies, and awful to its employees. Look up their employees review on Glassdoor. They acquired my through acquisition of Century bank. Proceeded to not inform me and wrongfully destroy my credit. Refused to undo their mistake citing internal policy I was mostly disturbed when on a recorded chat line your customer service agent told me "Its your responsibility to pay your loan and it doesn't matter if we told you or not" This is an example of the toxic culture that exists at Eastern. These predatory rules were designed and put in place by the executives. If they put as much effort into helping your customers as you did into ruining their day you would be a terrific financial services partner. I managed to make on time payments for 7 years and have excellent credit. A few months of having Eastern bank in my life turned my credit score upside down.

Eastern bank ruined my credit. I have had perfect credit my whole life. Eastern bank sent a 25$ bill by snail mail for a yearly fee on my over draft service that I never use. I pay all my bill online so wasn’t looking for a bill because I don’t have loans with them. It registered as late for 4 months, not making me aware of this by email or online or on the app that use all the time. Same thing happens one year later. After many discussions with customer service people that agreed with me and a written letter they refused to take it off my credit, the only bad thing on my credit report. I only found this out because I am refinancing my home. I have been a customer for over 7 years and thought I could work it out because it was such a weird situation. They were unwilling to work it out and unwilling to even let me talk to the people that make these decision. I would not use eastern bank if you are looking for a local bank.

Jim Cobb at Eastern and the whole staff are friendly and helpful. A great bank for all your banking needs that also gives back to the community and local charities.
