I booked a room for one night for a wedding in the area, Then I decided to book for the night before as well, (Booked through third party, if an IHG one rewards memeber you do not collect any points)) We arrived and checked in, she saw that I had two bookings, I asked if she could have us stay in the same room. She checked us in gave us the bag that went along with the wedding we were attending and a couple warm yummu cookies.
this was a friday afternoon, we had a good night, and Saturday Morning, we went about our day, We came back to find our key did not work to our room, so we went to the desk, she said "Oh, you have a back to back" which apparently means we needed to check in again for the second night! (would have been nice to know that when we checked in the first night) So back to our room, and the room was not made up, ok some places do that every other night, what ever... but then we noticed that our things had been touched and moved about the room, some things had been taken out of the draws and put in my lunch cooler that I had brought along. Someone clearly was in our room, yet the room was not made up. We wondered, did they think we were gone but left all our things? And if that was the case, nothing should have been touched, they should have reached out to the manager, or who ever is in charge of cleaning the rooms, We felt violated, unknown people were touching our things! We went to the front desk and saw the girl that had originally checked us in, we told her all about it, she said she would check with the Housekeeping supervisor. Apparently she did nothing!! We went to the wedding. We did not receive any notification of the situation when we got back or the next morning. At check out we told them again about what happened, If I had booked with the hotel to start with they could have comped the room, I wasn't so much looking for that, I wanted to know who and why was someone in our room touching our things, and not even make up the room. It was all about what they could give us to compensate, free breakfast, we were leaving to a brunch at the Bride and Grooms house, and we live out of Town, so that was no good to us!! Points were not suggested, as I am a Hilton club member. I was told to contact the 3rd party that we booked from, I did that and they said they do not have anything to do with the quality of a hotel. and that I should reach out to the Hotel. I sent the Hotel an email, but over a week later and I have heard nothing. I don't have a problem with HIlton. But I am not happy about the way this Location handled the situation.

Rooms: Rooms are great... standard fare but very clean. Beds are comfortable as are the pillows. The cleaning staff actually cleans the room everyday without having to request it... and they give you fresh towels. How refreshing to see this as other hotels have abandoned this practice blaming Covid and claiming that the practice is good for the environment...malarchy... they just want to save money.
Nearby activities: In about 20 minutes, you can be in Rockport and Gloucester... and not have to pay the almost $400+ dollars per night in those places. This hotel is a treasure as it has big gyms, nail salons and massages... and it's attached to an indoor water park. It's an amazing property. I've already recommended it to many of my friends... and I'm planning another short trip there.
Walkability: The hotel is on a very quiet and isolated area. It's heaven because there's no traffic or traffic noise. The downside to that is that you rely can't walk anywhere... you have to take your car. But the hotel has basically everything you need.
Food & drinks: There are 2 restaurants... one for breakfast and one for dinner. The breakfast buffet is truly awesome... you can pay a higher price (not much) per night for your room and have breakfast included or you can pay $18 per person for your breakfast... you do the math. The wait staff is amazing. They bring you to your table and get you your coffee...then you help yourself to the buffet. The dinner restaurant has a sports bar type of atmosphere and their menu is limited... but what they have is good.

The layout of the room was nice, but everything else was terrible. From the moment we entered the room, all we could smell was rotting trash somewhere in the room but we couldn’t locate it, which leads me to believe it was the carpet or some other fixture. We were on our way to a wedding and didn’t have a chance to report it to the front desk right when we checked in, but did so the next morning and were simply told “they’d have someone check it out”. No one came by before we checked out and no one has contacted us since we left. Find anywhere else to stay, this was beyond the pale for what they charged. I’ve stayed in cleaner Super 8’s.

The worst customer service ever!! I booked a room back on april 5th for my daughter and her boyfriend ages 19 and 20 to stay after a concert on September 25th. I recently just called the hotel to make sure it was ok for my daughter to have the cc I booked the room with as her name is not on the card. I was the told that's fine as long as she is 21. I said we'll she's not and the eligibility page say 18+ (screen shot below) I was told my reservation is non refundable. I simply said ok I will try to make this work and fine someone 21 yrs old to go with them. But in this case could I switch my room for a single bed to two? Since obviously under no fault of my own, we would have an additional guest. I was told no that would be a 50$ change room fee. What? I agreed to the chargers of the room under false pretenses. The supervisor was rude and arrugementive Was told to email corporate after no response I called one of their numbers. I received the same response. Outraged with the poor customer service I called the second number listed. I explained my situation I wasn't asking for anything I wasn't entitled to. She agreed with me and canceled my reservation. I told her I really didn't want that, just 2 beds instead of 1. She said she was able to do that. Now I have to search for a new hotel with a month notice before the show! They really should have just honored their mistake and simply given me a room with an additional bed. Problem solved.

Filthy rooms that’s smelled like urine, damp rugs, and no toiletries in the shower. My handicapped father was put on the 8th floor, which is a safety hazard and the unsympathetic, non responsive staff did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation.

Rented toddler room 1 King with 2 toddler beds. Description of room said there was a TV in the toddler area and it was in the pictures of the room. Floor tiles in the bathroom were chipped as well as a big chip in the toilet

I loved the location for my quick one night stay.
Check in was easy and very pleasant conversation upon check in. My room appeared clean as I quickly dropped off my bag before dinner in Gloucester.
Once in the room I noticed the bathroom not as clean as one would expect and the carpet was unpleasant.
In the morning I realized there were no bath towels and the bathroom fixtures needed attention of wiggling to turn off.
Overall Hilton needs to update this location but when you want an easy hotel to quaint New England towns this is a good hotel.

Absolutely terrible company to deal with, spent 38 minutes on the phone getting a great price on a hotel room only for the call to drop. When I called back in they dropped the call again after 15 minutes, I called a 3rd time and randomly got transferred 2 times including to the front desk manager which they all offered no help. All I wanted is the deal that I was offered on the phone!

Went for dinner and drinks ?, got to look at the menu, that's all, we left after 25 minutes, can't imagine how long people would be waiting if it was busy.

Excellent furnished rooms with large flat-screen, desk and chair, comfy chair, lots of storage spots including a luggage rack, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and mini-fridge. Friendly service, lots of towels, room service, and while check-out is 11am, you can extend to 3pm if circumstances require. There are two free parking lots with ample spaces and premium spots across the driveway opposite the entrance. The bar is open, and the restaurant is available on the weekend. Cheers!
