I have a prescription with a shelf life of 1 month and they still refuse to refill every single month despite numerous calls from my care provider.

Arriving on a Monday morning, presumably a slow time, I was finally able to get my first membership card. What's a better way to celebrate than to get a $1.50 hot dog and soda? Even though there were lines everywhere else, I was able to get my order in under 5 minutes. It was juicy and flavorful being 100% beef. Looking forward to making more trips here in the near future.

I write of my experiences in general at Costco. Costco is the best, and we go out of our way to shop there. We now live in Maine and have driven two hours in each direction to shop at the Danvers, MA and Nashua, NH stores. The trips are well worth it, although given the amount of driving involved we tend to stock up (and drop a bundle) each time so as not to have to drive there regularly. The prices are exceptionally reasonable (especially nowadays) and the selection of foods and products mostly address our needs. We have been waiting for the entire time we've lived in Maine (almost 1-1/2-years as of this writing) for Costco to come to Maine, and it appears we'll finally have a local Costco next month - just in time for holiday shopping! We are confirmed Costco members, and USUALLY find no fault with any aspect of the experience. BUT, on those occasions when there has been an issue, I do not hesitate to drop a letter (not an email or other quicker form of communication) to Costco's CEO, Craig Jelinek. (Personally, I would have written to him immediately about the sexual harassment case I read about below.) Never once has any situation I've complained about - and there have been several over the years - been resolved in a way that I wasn't completely happy with. (This includes a situation in which a pharmacy clerk was exceptionally rude to myself and my spouse, and my letter resulted in her being demoted to general checkout permanently. From what I learned, working in the pharmacy was considered a prime and extremely desirable area in which to work.)

I've been shopping at Costco for years now and the level of professionalism and respect from management has significantly decreased. The managers at Costco in Danvers ma speak to customers and employees HORRIBLY. One of the managers ..Vicky is a TYRANT!! I was harassed by her at self check out and spoken to in a very inappropriate manner...over my membership card...which was active and I had the card but she kept saying I needed to show her over and over and asking for my ID and saying it wasn't me in the picture ...it was so embarrassing and bizarre. After she berated me she went back over to the normal check registers and was yelling at her employees and speaking to them in the same manner ! I was shocked by her actions of this still Continuing because this was not the first time I've witnessed her doing this but this time It was to me directly...I can not believe she still Works there....wow

I always like to go to Costco. This is a particularly small one compared to the one I usually go to. Costco is cracking down on making sure you are the owner of the Costco card. I saw someone get kicked out of the self check out line because she had her mother's card and they said it has to be you. So like Netflix everyone beware! We were able to get so many great items here including some beauty items that had more money off, so that was a plus. They even have a liquor store attached and we were able to get the Kirkland vodka which is excellent. We are able to freeze a lot of the foods and we do feel the product is worth it! You may spend more up front but in the end it is more bang from the buck! We bought salmon, spinach, blueberries, strawberries, a great Nespresso maker (for a fraction of the cost), cucumbers, tomatoes and more! Costco is great. Also, we ended up meeting a fellow Cornelian (my husband was wearing the Cornell sweatshirt so someone asked him if he went to Cornell and he said no but my wife did) and with that I got into this whole conversation with the Cornelian! It turns out he is friends with a friend of mine so that was an added bonus!

Always amazing deals!!! I will and have driven 2 hours to a Costco location just so I can get their high quality products. Kirkland brand is generally better than the big name brands in 99% of products. The food court is amazing, not a bad thing to say about the company or any of the stores I've visited.

We have been going here for years and have typically encountered kind and well-mannered employees. Today we met Paula. She was running the register at our checkout and was rude, accusatory, and unwelcoming. When we got up to the head of the line we accidentally gave her a BJ's card. She gave dirty looks, held the card up to our face with a nasty look, and said nothing. We then gave her the correct catds and explained that we were doing two orders. We had a friend with us and Paula was unhappy. She rudely said you have to be a member to shop in the store and was about to not ring up our items. I let her know that we pay our $110 a year and are certainly members. She ratlled on about needing to be a member and then refused to make two separate orders and we had to pay it in full. This was fine but utterly stupid considering so many things. If we did self checkout it wouldn't have mattered. If we had made purchases online it wouldn't have mattered. If our friend had gotten a membership on her way in, she could have made her purchases and then canceled her membership under Costco policy and gotten her money back after the transaction. We spend thousands of dollars here every year and her treatment was intolerable. Earlier in the transaction I had mentioned that I hope her days gets better since she was miserable even before we spoke to her. On my way out she passed the receipt to me and said I HOPE YOUR DAY GETS BETTER with a witch-like laugh as she chomped on get wad of gum. We will be canceling our membership and getting a refund. Truly a let down. Will also let corporate know of our experience as I'm certain it does not meet their standards. I am not asking for an exception to the rules, just for tact and respect when they are being reinforced. Paula didn't believe we were members and thought we were trying to get away with something which is honestly laughable. We are three professionals in our 40's who enjoy some bulk shopping and good deals. We also paid with a $90 gift certificate we had earned with our last year of purchases as executive members. Poor Paula needs so training in customer service.

Costco's net worth is $225 billion and they said onions for hot dogs is to expensive. Onions cost $1.50 a pound. I have to pay for a membership. Why?

Have been happy shopping here for many years. Suddenly with the remodel of the gas station they are OVER-AUTHORIZING which totally screwed up my debit card / bank account. $200 was charged to my account when I bought $33 worth of gas. My funds are unavailable to me for 3 days. I know some gas stations have always done this, and I avoid them. Costco never did it before. Hate hate hate,

Costco makes fancy two-dozen bouquet roses accessible for those of us that are financially smart. I absolutely love receiving flowers, but getting them online is guaranteed to be $49.99 above... here at Costco, I'm able to get the same thing for $18.99. Just add a nice vase I have on hand and some DIY stem trimmings and DIY flower arrangements and it looks absolutely stunning. Aside from the flowers, the delicious $1.50 hotdogs (that comes with a medium sized soda) or the pizzas, the seasonal sale deals, and bulk shopping are just some of the things to love. Not to mention, they show their environmentally friendly practices by making available boxes so we won't have to use plastics to bag our merchandise. Another thing, this Costco has a liquor store. And newly expanded gas stations with more pumps and ability to pump on both sides. WOWzaaaa

I find that one has to comparison shop to find the best deals and at least I have BJ's membership also cause I find Costco are more expensive than The other boxed store for the same item, I intend to shop here but realistically I know my products and go back to the other to shop.Take for example this location has no FAT FREE MILK- automatically I head to BJ's!That's only one of several items that it is helpful to have both.. but I do find I get more for my money and more items I can utilize in my own home at BJ BUT Costco has its merits!I don't see the point showing my membership card when I first ENTER...very unproductive to have a person just stand there policing it's members! Many times I have walked in with card in hand and the person at the door is having conversations with whom ever and then I am 20 feet away will yell at me to see my card! I started to give Costco 5 stars initially, but the more I write the more I see myself taking stars away!Costco MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO NOT STOP CUSTOMERS BEFORE ENTERING JUST TO SHOW THEIR CARDS! There is no VSLID REASON!Stop that practice and those employees can be going more productive work to make its members happy to have a membership!

I have loved Costco for years for their good prices, great meat selection, accommodating return policy, and variety of odd items. However since the pandemic has eased, this store has become a s*** show. Every time I visit, it is crowded beyond belief, and the parking lot is filled with inept drivers. I'm reaching the point that the hassle of going outweighs any value delivered by the club.

Went in today to get a membership and pick up a whole bunch of stuff. The member service person who processed our membership was very nice, and did a thorough job explaining the member perks. We picked up quite a bit of stuff on our trip. Included was one 6 pack of muffins from the bakery, and one 6 pack of bagels. When we got to checkout, the cashier asked us if we got the second pack of muffins and second pack of bagels because it was a 2 for 1 deal. I said no. He instructed me to go back and get the second pack of bagels and muffins. I told him the one pack each was fine. I was then told it has to be 2 packs of each or I can't buy them.I told him to just take them off the order then. If you need to buy 2 packs of each, then sell them as a 2 pack. Im not interested in eating or wasting all that food, and not letting me buy an item because you think I should have doubled it is ridiculous. I'm not sure if we're going to continue our membership going forward.
