The initial experience was fine, the sales person was friendly but after the sale everything broke down. They had a fire in the lot which I understand wasn’t their fault but nobody offered to deliver the car to us, they weren’t able to register it so it took over a week with several cancelled appts for us to be able to pick up the car, and no discount was offered nor delivery. And when we finally picked it up it was a non-experience. My son’s first car and it was just out in some back lot- no bow and it wasn’t even cleaned. Not the experience I’d have wanted when I went in and paid cash for a car!

The sales person was good. The business office was terrible they lied multiple times and it took weeks to get my plates they said two hours it was 2 weeks..

I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about CarMax. I have purchased a car from them, I have sold a car to them, and I have traded a car in with them. All three experiences exceeded my expectations, and left me feeling good about my decision. I have never once walked out of a traditional car dealership and felt positive about the experience. I will never buy a used car from anyone but CarMax again.

Not a whole lot of selection of Buicks, salesmen were so hands off that it was unhelpful….. maybe get a cold cut bar or something in the showroom—- what? You no like salami !?!

Sales person " Dallas" is great!! Love to work with him this is my 5th car in this place. But Business office and customer service are the worse. no one pick the phone. they order a piece for my last car same day I purchase the car, 2 months later, still don't have the piece in my car.

I found the service fast, courteous, efficient, and pleasant. Carmax provided excellent service, and I was delighted with my experience.

The car-buying process was super easy and everyone was so nice. The after-sales service has been pretty terrible though - I can't reach anyone to tell them my remote starter won't work. Waited on the phone for over an hour and then no-one answered.

They try to make the process seamless but are holding my payment without giving me the car. I’ve called about 30 times and the line rings and rings and rings. If you want to work with actual humans, buy your used car at a dealership.

I had a pretty seamless experience on buying my low mileage auto. The usual paperwork takes some time but the registration and license transfer went quickly. Of particular note the car completely checked out regarding any damage, mileage and overall functions and. I received whaat I considered a. fair trade in price for my car. Voila, driving in style and satisfaction!

Made an appointment to see a vehicle and arrived 5 mins early. I was told I was checked in and to wait in the waiting area. 45min later I went back up as I was never called only to be told I was never checked in and they couldn't tell me how much longer I'd have to wait. Terrible experience. Don't take appointments if you can't keep them. So very unprofessional.

Slow, Slow, Slow. Not what was expected, after having sold a car to the CarMax in Austin TX. Took 1.45 hrs from start to finish. Expected about an hour.

It was a wonderful experience love my car. When I went to get the car they went beyond my expectations, the car was super clean and they put a big yellow bow on top of the car, loved it...!

Everyone there was incredibly helpful and friendly. I had been quoted over $2800 by KBB’s instant cash offer and $2100 by Edmund’s for carmax. When I brought my car to Honda North for the KBB appraisal they only offered me $1000. I was devastated. I had towed it there since my brakes were broken and I felt like they were taking advantage. Instead of caving, I towed my car to Carmax with the hopes of getting something more and it paid off! They honored the $2100 I was quoted online. I will absolutely be selling to CarMax over a dealership in the future.

Amin (I might be spelling his name wrong) dude was awesome, easy to talk to, personable and made the paperwork part of the transaction bearable. For a younger man, he really is an asset to CarMax. I haven’t stopped telling people about my experience with the Danvers location or the car, and he’s a huge part of why. I got a Mazda 6. The car is amazing, the customer service was second to none and I’d recommend CarMax 10 of 10 times.
