I found the individuals to be responsive, and their Asst Branch VP Maggie is outstanding. Because of their responsiveness I change over my mortage to Align.

Do not use Align for anything. Due to an error on their end, they have hurt mine and my wife’s credit and their response to us is simply to dispute it with all three credit bureaus.I do not feel they are fit to work with and share sensitive personal information. They confirmed via email that they received a payment timely then proceeded to report that very “late” payment to the credit bureaus. Instead of working with us, they just passed us off and said we have to file disputes with all three credit bureaus.This is no way to treat any customers and is the worst experience I have ever had with a bank or financial institution. Do not use Align under any circumstances if you have a choice. Not only will they unnecessarily damage your credit, they will take no ownership in fixing the issue. They will just pass you off and try to make you feel crazy for thinking they would actually fix such a thing on their end. They should be dealing directly with their customers instead of passing them off, ESPECIALLY when they are the ones who caused the issue. This is no way to treat customers!!!

Through various companies I have utilized several banks - but this credit union is among the best. In particular, this branch is excellent. The management is informative, eager to help and always professional. The rest of the team is equally as friendly. They make it easy to ask (and receive quality) answers to questions whether it be about products/services or just routine account questions.

I wish Danvers was a little closer to me so I could use this credit union for my primary banking. The staff has been so great any time we have done business there and customer service is always a deal breaker. Highly recommend them!

Horrible, just horrible. Tried to cash a check after waiting in a drive through for 25 minutes and was told I would need to go in the lobby to do it because "There are no exceptions for non membership to cash a check at the drive through without opening an account." Only problem is, I tried to go into the lobby but it was locked up, at 2:30 on a Tuesday afternoon. Rude teller on top of everything. Who would ever want to bank with this institution? Not me. Let me give 0 stars please!

Lost 3 jobs between me and my husband during coronavirus pandemic. Account went under. Contacted them to let them know I would try my best to bring positive. Next day when I logged on I had no accounts. Received a letter in the mail they closed my accounts, removed me as a member and wanted their 200.00 dollars.

Just charged $55 in overdraft fees because, even though their mobile app isn't updated by the minute of deposits and withdrawals.. They run my checking account as if they do!! I transferred money internally from 1 acct to cover a bill, I was an hour late so I got hit with a $25 fee!???!! Something similar happened again days later, got charged $30 on that one. I really liked the thought of going to a small bank instead of big conglomerates..... I was better off at a big national Bank......

What a garbage institute. Unless you're into customer service phone calls and having money evaporate from your account, stay away! I know that sounds extreme and it's true that I'm very angry right now. But this is the 4th time I've had to contact them because money has gone missing. I've had a business account, a personal account and a car loan with them for a few years. This last week i noticed a check I had deposited via mobile deposit 4 days prior -and cleared as deposited on my end- had been withdrawn from my account marked as "unable to read ada #". It's not that Align contacted me to let me know. In fact, when I called them, the customer service rep said there was no note on my account about it. I wasted a lot of time and energy resolving this, including having to go back to a client and have them re-write the check and being embarrassed about how shitty and unprofessional my bank is. I have had TWO clients contact me in the last 3 months saying that their check hadn't been deducted from their account. I was like OH THATS FUNNY, because I know for sure I deposited them via mobile app. I don't even want to think about what other checks have been withdrawn after being cleared, or how many clients didn't notice or just didn't bring it to my attention. A real garbage institution. Will never trust these fools with my money again.

Very poor customer service, I have been a customer since 1990. Over the years Align credit has endured many changes, names, policies and service changes and I stayed. But I have to say in recent years I have experienced very poor customer service and poor follow up on Multiple occasions. I've also had issues in the past with, online Banking, Credit cards not functioning correctly, holding Payments. The credit union is owned and supported by its members and I believe they have forgotten that. I'm sad to say You should not allow them to manage your funds or credit needs as you will be repeatedly disappointed. I've already moved else where with another credit union so I understand and see the difference in quality and customer service. If your having or had problems at Align Credit union your not alone.
