Disappointed with the taste. The overall taste was beer and very very very sour . Not traditional miso you’re expecting to use for a traditional miso soup .

I have bought South River Miso for years, I think it's one of the best if not thee best miso out there. My favorite is dandelion miso. The 3 year miso is excellent too. I don't think I will ever buy a different companies miso. I'm so enjoying South River Miso.

South River Chickpea Miso is an amazingly rich flavoring. Very versatile. Of course, very salty (like all miso).
