Extremely disappointing experience with USPS staff members Jiba and Larry today. When we walked last Saturday, Jiba told us that an appointment was required for passport applications. He said there were two appointments available the following Saturday - 10 or 10:15 am. We asked for the 10:15 am. Next Saturday rolls around and we arrive at 10:13 am. Larry tells us "we canceled your appointment." We say what, our appointment was for 10:15, what's going on? And we point out that Jiba, also present, had set this up for us one week prior. The duo - on a quiet August Saturday morning - say the appointment was for a 15 minute window from 10-10:15, for which we had to show up 10 minutes early - that is, at 09:50. We point out that Jiba never said any of that when we made the appointment - he had told us it was at 10:15 am. The duo then says, "oh, it's written on the receipt." We say that it's not acceptable to rely on customers to pore over the fine print of a written receipt when we were orally told by the staff that the appointment was at 10:15 am.Larry and Jiba refused any courtesy or professionalism, refused to acknowledge they'd failed to inform the customer, and summarily canceled the appointment. Despite this being a quiet August Saturday morning when there was obviously plenty of time for them to have sorted our single application. This was entirely unprofessional and not at all what I would expect from the US Postal Service. Deeply disappointing, Jiba and Larry. Deeply disappointing.

I'd like to rate this place higher, if not for one of your worker's surly, condescending attitudes (middle aged guy with a comb over haircut). Aside from that, service was decent and the other workers were respectful enough. It's unfortunate that this place couldn't be more accommodating of appointment times set up by folks for something as simple as a passport photo.

They seem friendly but do not honor the passport appointment times you make. Disrespectful of your time and effort.

Parking can be a pain if you try to get there on a Saturday, but the staff is always nice and there's usually more than one clerk which makes a HUGE difference when they are busy. If you collect stamps, they usually have a good selection in stock. Take a look at the 1941 "WPA" mural, vintage PO boxes, etc.

Unfriendly man with short crew cut working the front office today. Zero customer service. Zero personality. Is it possible to staff the office with people who want to be there? There have been some incredibly nice people who have worked there over the years, but this changing of the guard is really terrible.
