Awful service. Plan to spend your day getting a prescription filled even if you got texts it already was.

I've been a customer at CVS in Concord, MA for many years. On the plus side, the staff, particularly the pharmacy staff, are very experienced and provide excellent service. And, the store has a pretty good selection of personal products (Shampoo, shaving needs, toothpaste, sunglasses, etc.). But, sadly, the negatives are many... First, the store is seriously understaffed. Even cashiers can be hard to find, let alone anyone to help you navigate the products in their aisles. Second, the pharmacy has become nearly impossible to get a hold of via phone. It seems that CVS corporate keeps on adding layers of menu selections and automated responses in their phone system to discourage you from actually talking with a human being. The automated responses have yet to be helpful to me, and certainly no effort is made to make your experience less frustrating! The CVS website is even worse. Finally, when I get a prescription there, I do not want to have to jump through all sorts of hoops to get it - such as being pressured into going with automated prescription deliveries by mail, or having to answer a cascade of irrelevant questions I've answered many times before. Therefore, I recently dumped CVS and switched to a locally owned pharmacy. I actually get to talk to a human when I call - on the first try. The store is well staffed. I don't have to deal with a blizzard of stupid questions when running my charge card through the machine. And, even the prescription prices seem to be lower (at least they are after the insurance adjustment). Goodbye CVS. Nice knowin' ya.

There is no service here. Received two texts to pick up medication, on first one went to pick it up,.... not there, when I received second text went that day..... not there. I said why are they telling me to come in when there is nothing to pick up yet. They said it was corporate sending those texts, they are not connected to them. I said it is also on the website. Also stated they have nothing to do with that. I said how will I know when to come in then, they said you will get a text, I said you just told me I cannot believe those texts, or the website. Now they are telling me they want to get in touch with my Dr, and they are not calling CVS back, as CVS wants to change my medication. I said you are not a Dr. you have no right to waste more of my time, my Dr's valuable time, making such a call. When I am convinced that my Dr. knowingly operates so much better then anyone behind this counter. They need to fire them all and start a knew. Never seen so much disfunction and poor attitude in my life. Who knows what other mistakes they are making here, when they cannot even execute a straight forward scripts.

You go here because you have to go to CVS or Walgreens for prescriptions. The big chains know you are stuck with them so customer service sucks. They don't even look at you from behind the register.

my mom went today, a older man was racist towards her and was super rude saying that they didn’t have the meds that she had to wait until tomorrow for her INSULIN. she is a type 2 diabetic which she needs her insulin, she called earlier and they said the medicine was ready. She called right now and they said the medicine has been ready since 11 am!!!! a lot of people have had complaints similar to this (mostly hispanics and poc) with the same guy, he is a older male with glasses and white hair. pls get better staff cvs

Rude, offensive and shady place. Costco repeatedly requested my Rx to be transferred. The pharmacist here simply ignores the request. When I called to request it myself, she gaslighted me. Insisted that she had been doing transfers "all day" -- and Costco never had contacted her.

Consistently horrible service. E-v-e-r-y-time. The pharmacist and her staff are the worst part of the store. Before you even finish asking a question they are already talking over you with an irrelevant response in a condescending tone.

The CVS in Concord, MA is like almost every other CVS: they have the standard products, a pharmacy, give out vaccinations, etc. The pharmacists are generally very good. The clerks are fine, too. People are complaining for no reason here - you are going to a retail pharmacy, not booking a room at the Ritz Carlton.

Absolutely horrendous pharmacy. Extreme rude, talking over me. Got a text our prescription was ready only to go and find out they don’t even have the medication on hand. Our elderly dog dying of cancer will surely appreciate not having her medicine tonight.

Surly, unhelpful pharmacy staff. One of them told me mis-information, then told me to talk with someone else on their team. When I told the new person what the previous person told, she acted like I'd made it up and was just being annoying. When I myself suggested a different solution to the problem (manufacturer out of stock on a prescription I've been taking for years) she said "yeah we could do that." Why didn't she suggest that in the first place?!

Since 2014, I have been a customer at CVS 199 Sudbury Rd. Other reviewers have mentioned long waiting times on the phone and I could add the app doesn't always keep up! However, my review is positive because of the staff that work there. This CVS is extremely busy and I mean the Pharmacy. I have always been treated respectfully and that is very important to this 77 year old.Good to support local workers such as the staff at CVS. Remember, they helped us through Covid

Waited on hold for 45 minutes. That was only after I got through the automated system which kept giving me covid-19 information after I repeatedly requested a pharmacist. When someone finally answered the phone she gave vague responses to all of my questions. Then she told me to hold on and hung up the phone. Worst cvs experience, would travel out of the way just to avoid going to this location.
