Terrible mannerisms in this establishment! Me and my fiancé bought a package off of Groupon and was treated like scum of the earth by certain individuals here. We were accused of some kind of criminal activity and they had the police and detectives waiting for us outside and pulled us over and embarrassed us in public by surrounding us with the town police officers all around us like we just committed a crime. So sad that the way this worlds perspectives is on people with tattoos and are from the inner city. I will keep them in my prayers and hope their hearts are soften and and that they can practice acceptance and love wholeheartedly not just individualized by their own kind. Seemed racially motivated or something close to that. It was more baffling than anything honestly. If you’re of color or certain race I wouldn’t go here expecting to be treated fairly.

Worst Salon - ever! I had been going there for two years. After recuperating from a total knee replacement, I saved my money and wanted to start my new lease on life with a great hair cut and color. Instead, the color is so wrong and not flattering and brown in the back. My hair was down to my shoulders, and she cut three inches off without asking me. When she pulled the foils, she pulled out some of my hair which resulted in a huge sore on my head. I went home with wet hair to discover how awful and unflattering my hair was. I was devastated! I planned on starting my video series and workshops and dating and I looked ridiculous with a bowl cut. They promised to refund my money and they didn't. they insulted me by giving me $37 in refund for the outrageous cut. I waited patiently for over three months to get a refund. Living with hair that is sooo short and ugly is emotionally devastating! It's shameful the way they treated me. If I were a lawyer I would sue for emotional distress.

I used Walsh Styling for hair & makeup services for my December wedding. This team is so talented and just the right energy that you need as you're getting ready for your big day.My sister's and I have very thick hair and Ashley and team did an amazing job listening to our needs and making sure that the styles that we chose would stay in all the way until the end of the night.I highly recommend Walsh for your wedding needs- they make things easy from the initial consultation, to the trail, to the day of the wedding. And they come right to you which is a huge perk!

The hair dressers were friendly and I'm sure nice people but it was by far the worst experience I've ever had when it comes to the finished product. After repeatedly telling the stylist my hair goes warm and I don't want warm tones, my hair turned orange. Yikes. She toned it 3 times and then the owner dyed over it, but within weeks it returned and kept getting worse and worse until I went to a professional to get it fixed. I think I must have been put with someone who was training, but I wish they had asked me because I would never have agreed to that. I tried reaching out to them directly to find a solution but never heard back.

Racist salon. I had an awful experience at this salon. I came in with a a 3- pack Groupon that was purchased online. I had to call the salon three different times to finally speak to someone to set up an appointment. When I arrived to the salon. for my appointment, the doors were locked and and I had to call the salon number and I was told to wait outside until someone came down to open the door, well the problem is it was a cold rainy day outside. As I said, I purchased a three pack session for the salon on Groupon. When I got to the front desk the women who worked there told me that the there's only one Groupon allowed per a person, well I had already bought the Groupon and they wouldn't sell it on Groupon if it wasn't an option to be used in salon. I had to e explain to her this, and I feel this was a way to get me to buy the sessions in the salon for a normal price. The women at the front desk was very rude, did not offer me any refreshments (although there was a fridge stocked with tea, mini waters, and soda for customers. Later, I asked for a water and the woman who worked there gave me a dirty look, looked me up a down, in a rude manner she said sure a. she passed me the water. She repeatedly looked my fiancé (who has tattoos, from neck to toe on his body as a way of self expression and appreciating his culture.) My fiancé is from Africa and has family from the D.R, and I do believe that if you are not the average white, blond, suburban mom you will be judged, mistreated and undervalued here. We only went back to complete our sessions from Groupon that we had already purchased online prior to visiting the salon, after our third session we left the salon and there was four cop cars waiting outside for us.......talk about racism.... Well, the cops wouldn't give us a reason why we could no longer visit the salon, we just weren't welcome back or allowed there and there was a warrant out, if we arrived again it would be breaking the law or something they told me. How racist of them. I do not typically write reviews, if I ever had a complaint or concern I usually speak directly to the salon to fix it. However, I do believe everyone needs to know and hear of this, because that was blunt out racism.

I have gone to Walsh Styling for over a year now and cannot be happier with my decision. Jess always does an AMAZING job on my eyebrows (wax and tint) and Ashley is the best hair dresser ever! I always walk out of there feeling like a million dollars. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Cora is the best!! I went in here with a grown out, faded, tangled mess and in just a few hours came out with GORGEOUS hair. I could not say enough about the entire experience. I always look at the before and afters on social media thinking "wow that looks amazing, I wish I could have hair like that". I would have never in a million years thought I would be that girl! Cora, thank you so much for the absolutely amazing work you do!

The other day I went in for a full lash set and a blowout and could not be more happy with the results! Jess is truly amazing and so knowledgeable on skin care and lashing. Also, my blowout by Cora came out incredible and lasted for days! I couldn’t be more happy with how the results came out from both of them. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Had a hair appointment for Friday to do ash highlights for my wedding this coming weekend. I’m naturally a strawberry blonde and haven’t had anything done in years other than trims. So my hair was a blank canvas, and wasn’t “dark” by any means. My “ash highlights” weren’t noticeable at all to the point where I had stated before the blow dry had finished.I didn’t express to anyone that I was to have my hair done, and I’m glad I didn’t because 6 family members including my fiancé didn’t notice. When I had expressed my frustration to the stylist Cora, she claimed I needed numerous foils for the ash to pop... mind you she did a full foil. Not only did I receive misinformation, my MOH attempted to resolve the issue for me and received backlash and received “I’m not a miracle worker”I went to another stylist located elsewhere who examined my hair and found many areas that should’ve been touched by the full foil which weren’t. Thankfully this stylist was able to correct my hair and I received an actual full foil of ash highlights. I’m very disappointed in the customer service and the lack of response to resolve the service. I’m also not happy about the amount of money I’ve lost due to this.Update:Was reached out to and received the gratuity back... However I did receive this as a statement “I’m not saying you’re this type of person, however there are people that pay for services, then write negative reviews to receive their money back” then was offered when ready to come back to the salon and see another stylist.I was unable to receive a full refund due to their staff not being able to look at it themselves.
