I can't thank Ron, and the Hingham Lumber staff, enough. My wife backed into our garage door and we were quoted close to $10k to replace it. I took out the damaged panel, and Ron was kind enough to repair it. Not only did he repair the damage, he did so whilst preserving what he could saving me money in the process, and making it better than it was before. All in, close to $600 later and I have a panel that looks better than before and have saved time and money! Now, as for the color matching, that was on me. Thank you Ron!

We just started a major remodel in Marshfield. Hingham Lumber is our go to supplier for everything from Andersen Windows to lumber. The service is outstanding and we spot check their pricing vs. the competition. They are consistently lower. Service and price, it’s a compelling combination.

I can not say enough good things about this company. I told them what I needed and they helped me pick everything out and then Ron Tompkins (very) patiently cut ALL of it to size for me Well come to find out I measured it all wrong and it ALL needed to be recut and plained, so I went back the next day and Ron graciously fixed it ALL for me. He was very helpful, everyone there was!! I highly recommend using them.

The woman in a black hoodie at the lumber yard this afternoon was borderline rude. Walked in and waited my turn. Looked towards me and looked back at her sidekick, tittered and said "Do you see anything? I don't see anything!" and they both laughed. She was rude and unprofessional as I sought her help asking for a piece of wood for my decking. When it came to payment not a word was exchanged or said but as I already had her figured out that is not shocking. On the way out her accomplice checked my receipt and asked if I had anything else which is a stupid question as I had already paid why would I have anything else? . I'm down the road from them but Lowes and Home Depot is where my money would be spent going forward.

Excellent customer service. Quick and easy process when it comes to placing and fulfilling orders. Our company has dealt with Dan True on multiple occasions- he has always been great in regards to handling multiple orders simultaneously and answering all of our questions in a timely manner.Hingham Lumber is definitely among the best in the South Shore on both sides of coordination and product selection.

Be sure to have a competent person present for delivery. A $7000. Wood delivery was left in my gravel driveway buried up to 5 sheets of 4X8 into my gravel and left it. And we're getting rain this weekend. They won't address it until Monday after the rains.
