Best company I’ve dealt with so far. Very respectful, very patient. Jeff came out quickly estimated my window got back to me in a timely manner. Shakedown for Additional Payment There is no complaint on the service call from Yankee Glass yesterday, after my purchase of a mirror over a vanity in my single family home in Granby. The two workman were professional, dressed in company uniforms, and polite. After the install, that took no more than 15 minutes, I was a bit surprised at the $240 charge. There was also an additional charge of $20 for material that I understood was a charge for the glue. I felt like that was a bit unfair and suggested the $20 should have been included in the $240 install fee. The lead worker offered to call the office to see if they would delete the charge. After 15 minutes of waiting to get an okay from the "Big Boss" I realized I should have just paid the extra $20. Eventually,the lead told me the $20 had been deleted from charge and a new invoice was provided. For their efforts I gave each workman a $10 tip. Fast forward to 30 minutes after the workmen departed, I get a phone call from the same "Big Boss" (Roy?) who said I owed the $20? I was a bit unkind and under the circumstance I declined to pay the extra $20. The "Big Boss" said he would have to raise the issue with a someone above him. Huh? I have a paid invoice for the $240. What would you have done? I never asked for anything special and just wanted to be treated fairly. I am an 82 year old, 100% combat veteran from my fighter pilot in Vietnam. I didn't ask for an 'old age' or military discount.

I used Yankee Glass to replace all my sunroom windows last year (probably about 10 in total, and each was a custom size). Roy and his crew did an excellent job…his guys busted their butts in the hot June weather to replace all my windows. They were polite, hardworking, and just generally pleasant. They cleaned up after themselves after every day…you wouldn’t even be able to tell that contractor was over doing work. They stayed late on the last day (a Friday) working to get my askew sunroom door set plumb. I would highly recommend Yankee Glass for anyone looking for glass repair and/or window replacement. These guys are true professionals, and a pleasure to deal with.Services: Window installation

Our bathroom has a unique layout with sloped ceiling, which required a custom design - but Roy and the Yankee Glass team did an excellent job from start to finish when designing and installing our shower enclosure. I can't say enough about Roy and Yankee glass. He repaired a leaking Subaru window, even adjusting the door and replacing the molding on the doors, all for less than the estimate. He even came in over the weekend to make sure it was done on time.Service: Window repair

Excellent service. Yankee Glass changed my cracked windshield on my tractor front window and did an amazing job. I highly recommend their service. Very professional and friendly service, as well as great quality work. They changed my front windshield in less then an hour and did an amazing job. Fair price as well. I needed glass for a small table / plant stand I found on my local Buy Nothing FB group. It was ready the same day for a very reasonable cost, and was exactly what I asked for. I did not need tempered glass, which would have been more expensive and taken longer to get. When I got the glass home, I discovered that the table wasn't completely square in the corners. The glass fit into each side, but wouldn't sit into the space so I needed the glass to be just a little tiny bit smaller. I brought the glass back to Yankee Glass, with the table (in hindsight, I should have done that in the first place), and they were able to get the glass to fit perfectly while I waited. I would have been happy to pay for the extra labor, they kindly refused my offer and sent me on my way. I'm extremely happy with my experience with Yankee Glass.
