John was very rude, his breath smelt very very bad. He threatened to report my rental van stolen if I did not bring it back. Mind you, I had rented it for weeks, and he demanded it back before my due date. Tell homeboy to fix his hairline. And to check them doodoo stains on his pants. I don’t understand how management can let someone come into work dressed as he was. Very unprofessional, and dressed like he just got out of bed. I highly recommend RYDER if you need any sort of rental.

So I made a reservation for truck with lift gate just to have them call me ten minutes before picking up truck and telling me they gave my truck to someone else and if that wasn’t enough the employee gets an attitude and starts speaking to me like I’m a piece of **** the nerve of this place horrible experience do not recommend to anybody who is trying to get stuff done professionally

I don't usually write reviews, but the experience I had here was both concerning and pathetic. Rented a van to drive to Buffalo, NY (approx. 700 miles round trip) Steering wheel was lashing side to side on the highway. Turned around and took it back (thankfully) and they told me very nonchalantly that the van needed 4 new tires and an alignment job. Sales/Customer service didn't seem concerned or surprised that they rented out an unsafe vehicle to a customer. Not sure who is running this place but some serious intervention is clearly needed ASAP. Won't ever rent a vehicle here again.

My favorite rental truck is always Penske - I went with a lower price elsewhere and got a 24 hour notice that I wasn't getting my truck. Penske was able to save the day.They also called me 2 hours before my pickup time to confirm I was still renting the truck then had it out in front of the office with the windows down so it wasn't hot. The tank was full, the back was clean, and the paperwork was ready to go.Thank you for your great service.

5 stars for the actual team in Chicopee, from the manager, to the reps, to maintenance guys. I have left great reviews in the past and greatfull for the working relationship we have. EveryoneOn the team deserves our admiration and Penske’s highest compensation.1 star for Penske the company and higher ups.My commercial contract started in 2020 with rep after rep saying that I was locked into the rate of $120/day for a 26ft truck plus $0.14 per mile. I learn not by email but while booking a truck that the rate on my commercial contract went up to $300day for a 26ft truck. I would rent 2-6 26 ft trucks per day during the summer and Fall months, and We pay our invoices. We spent well over 120k renting trucks from Penske last year and we get almost raised 200%??? I understand things are going up across the board, but that is insane. I also feel that we were lied to, because locked in usually means in perpetuity.I also used to get phone calls from the leasing team monthly asking us to lease a truck, when we finally do the policy changes to where we no longer qualify due to not having the prerequisite amount of years in business.The contracts, receipts, and invoices are all very mysterious and vague. Some agreements do not even have contracts with terms on them. Invoices say things like special or just Mantenece on them. When you ask someone they can’t tell you what it is sometimes. Your receipt most of the time is your bank statement.If you call corporate, you are on an ever lasting hold which sometimes hangs up on you. I had someone back into my parked truck called claims, and the number was completely useless.Every so often some sales rep appears and crafts you a deal which is great, but the turn over seems so high that after a month the person no longer works at Penske and everyone is confused about the deal.We were very faithful happy and faithful clients. In my opinion, we are now being treated very poorly and may have to continue to accept these terrible things, but we will be renting a lot less from Penske.

Arrived at this facility with a low coolant light on. Figured they would just top it of if it was low. Not the case . They looked busy, but they immediately did a pressure test which revealed a leak in the radiator. They located one within minutes and luckily it was only 15 minutes away. They had it picked up and installed within a few hours… The second shift crew at this facility is simply amazing. I did not have to be put into a loaner truck. I am a few hours behind but well worth the wait…..I give these people a five star rating
